More than 100 graves have been desecrated in a cemetery near Benin‘s capital, Porto-Novo, police say.
The grave robbers cut the heads off the bodies and also stole some internal organs.
The BBC’s Vincent Nnanna in Benin says there is a suspicion the crime is linked to extreme Voodoo practices of using body parts as lucky charms.
It is the first such incident in the West African nation, where Voodoo is an official religion, he says.

The eldest daughter of former Head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari has died.

Zulaihatu Buhari died this evening (Thursday) in Kaduna. She died two days after child birth on Tuesday at Nasarawa Hospital, a private clinic in Marafa, Kaduna; though the baby girl survived.

According to the Deputy State Chairman of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), Alhaji Bashir Saidu, the deceased was married to Captain Mahmud Junaid, a retired Army officer.

Zulaiha will be put to rest in Kaduna this night according to Islamic right.

A 28-year old suspected Facebook fraudster, Benjamin Asuahor, of Eleko town in Lagos State was on Thursday arraigned before an Abuja Magistrates’ Court, Life Camp for alleged cheating.
The accused, who appeared before Chief Magistrate Rahmatu Gulma, was also charged with criminal breach of trust and criminal intimidation, the News Agency of Nigeria reports.
The Police prosecutor, Cpl. John Ijagbemi, told the court that one Amaka Okoye of No. 2, Gafia Street, Nasarawa State reported the accused at the FCT Police Command headquarters, Abuja.
Ijagbemi said that on June 4, the accused, who was a Facebook contact, proposed to sell ladies wear and hand bags to Okoye at N140,000.
He said on June 20, Okoye paid the said money into a UBA account, in favour of one Obiowu Felix, but the accused refused to supply the items.
The prosecutor told the court that efforts to get the money back proved abortive, adding that in the process, the accused threaten to kill Okoye if she insisted on collecting her money back.
He said police investigation had discovered that the accused was only a scammer that neither had a job nor a shop.
Ijagbemi said the accused was charged with criminal breach of trust, cheating and criminal intimidation, which is contrary to the provisions of sections 312, 322 and 397 of the Penal Code. The accused, however, pleaded ‘not guilty.’
The prosecutor, however, urged the court for an adjournment and urged the court to remand the accused in prison custody till the next adjourned date.
He argued that the accused had no fixed address within the jurisdiction of the court and if granted bail on any grounds, he was liable to jump bail.
Chief Magistrate Gulma remanded the accused in prison custody and adjourned the case till November 21 for hearing.

The millionaire software genius behind the McAfee antivirus programs is wanted for murder in Belize — this according to reports.
According to Gizmodo.com, Belize police claim John McAfee is the prime suspect in the shooting death of an American expatriate named Gregory Faull.
Faull was reportedly gunned down at his home in San Pedro Town on the island of Ambergris Caye on Saturday — after an argument with McAfee had turned deadly.
McAfee — whose software company sold to Intel in 2010 for $7 billion — has been living in Belize for a while now.
Details around the alleged argument between McAfee and Faull are unclear, but police claim Faull had filed a formal complaint about McAfee with the local mayor’s office recently, claiming McAfee had been firing off guns and exhibiting “roguish behavior.”
Gizmodo has published a statement from the San Pedro police, which says Faull was found lying face up “in a pool of blood.” Police have not established a motive.
According to Gizmodo’s report, police claim McAfee is currently “on the run from murder charges.

Current president of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor has bought a private jet, joining a growing number of high-flying Nigerian pastors who own private jets. Mr. Oritsejafor is the chief pastor and founder of the Word of Life Bible Church in Warri, Delta State.

Mr. Oritsejafor was presented with the "gift" of the jet via a projector at a lavish party that marked the 40th anniversary of his work as a pastor in Warri. President Goodluck Jonathan was in attendance at the event where Mr. Oritsejafor received the jet. One source described the pastor as “ferociously close to President Jonathan.”

Mr. Oritsejafor’s jet is a Canadian-made Bombardier jet with US registration number N431CB. The jet was manufactured in 1994 and previously belonged to two different owners in the US, our records revealed. The private jet was last used in New Jersey by C R BARD IN of Murray Hill, New Jersey

SaharaReporters learnt that the jet was flown out of the US from Morristown, New Jersey in September 2012 ostensibly to be retrofitted and serviced before delivery last week to Mr. Oritsejafor.

Egyptian club El Gouna announced on Saturday that newly recruited Ivorian player Ahmed Toure has left the country with a fake passport after he was diagnosed with HIV.
The team’s director Ahmed Al Sohafey said regular medical check ups revealed the player had recently contracted the virus, which did not appear during the initial test.
“When we signed him he did not suffer from any diseases, however we do regular check ups for the players all times and we now known that he has the virus” Al Sohafey was quoted as saying by supersport.com.

Reports received indicate that voices can still be heard in the rubble of a multi-storey shopping centre at Achimota-Neoplan in Accra, more than 48 hours after it collapsed, rescue workers have said.
Rescue efforts are now concentrating on the section where the voices can be heard.
Peacefmonline.com can confirm that four people have been identified as still being alive under the rubble in the collapsed Melcom building. They are said to be trapped in a mangled elevator.
So far 78 people have been rescued from beneath the debris of the Melcom store – and the death toll rose to 18 following the discovery of nine more bodies on Thursday evening.
Four of the victims were buried under slabs of stones; sadly, one of the victims was a pregnant woman. An Israeli rescue team has been using sniffer dogs to help locate people buried under the rubble.
Experts have blamed faulty construction for the collapse of the building, which opened earlier this year. On Thursday, the Ghana Institution of Engineering said the building did not have a permit which meant the city authorities may not have inspected the building before it opened.
Earlier today, people in nearby buildings owned by the same company, Kinsadus; were ordered to evacuate pending safety inspections.
The Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) ordered three nearby buildings owned by Nana Kwesi Boadu, the director of Kinsadus Company, to be evacuated.
These include the branches of two financial institutions; Standard Chartered Bank and Fidelity Bank.

Pope Benedict XVI will have an official Twitter account and will send regular tweets for his followers around the world by the end of the year, Vatican spokesman Federico Lombardi said Friday.
The Jesuit priest said the pope’s Twitter handle will be announced officially at a later time, although one likely candidate, @BenedictusPPXVI, registered this year already has 2,900 followers without having any tweets.

A 21-year-old student has been hospitalised, after she was allegedly pushed down from the third floor of the multi-storey building in Lagos, following a disagreement with a man she met on the social network, facebook.
Akabugu Nkiruka sustained multiple injuries, including a pelvis fracture, and was undergoing surgery at the General Hospital, Marina, Lagos, on Tuesday.
Nkiruka, a linguistic student of the University of Lagos, told Reporters on her hospital bed that she met the young man through the social media, barely a week before the Nov. 1 incident.
According to her the 26-year-old man (names withheld) last Wednesday invited her to a night club in Apapa from where they ended up in his family home at 1004 Estate, Victoria Island, Lagos.
She noted that the young man had earlier talked about sex on phone prior to the outing but she told him she was menstruating.
Nkiruka said that on getting to the house, the man tore her dress and tried to rape her.
According to Nkiruka, the man thereafter pushed her down from the third floor of the building because she refused to have sex with him.
When contacted, the mother of the young man, who was at home on the night of the incident, however, said she was not aware of what happened, saying that she slept around 10 p.m., while the disagreement between the couple started much later.
The mother, who pleaded anonymity, disclosed that she paid part of the hospital bill immediately after Nkiruka was admitted, and even tried to transfer her to a private hospital.
“I took her as our own daughter and so, I can do anything that will make her recover quickly,” she added.
She insisted that her preliminary inquiry indicated that Nkiruka was not pushed by her son as alleged, but that she jumped on her own in the ensuing scuffle.
When contacted, CSP Fayoade Adegoke, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Bar Beach, Victoria Island, Lagos, told Reporters that Nkiruka wrote in her statement to the police that she jumped on her own, in order to escape being raped.

She reportedly crashed her car Tuesday, afternoon and was quickly rushed to the Ridge Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
A source close to the family told Myjoyonline.com he was at the Ridge Hospital where Love Amoako had been taken but would not go public on the death of the mother of Asamoah Gyan.

Commercial motorcycle riders a.k.a okada on Tuesday protested the alleged killing of one of the colleagues by a policeman in Ilupeju area of Lagos.
The protest led to confusion in the area as policemen fired bullets and teargas to disperse the protesters.
A witness wrote on Facebook that the policeman shot the okada rider dead after failing to stop the biker on Coker Road in Ilupeju.
The cyclist had successfully evaded the policeman’s attempt to arrest him when he was surprisingly shot dead.
More details on the okada rider’s killing were not immediately available.
Policemen and traffic agents have been accused of using brutal methods to enforce the Lagos State Traffic Law, which also bars okada riders from some roads in the metropolis.
There are reports that some policemen have actually killed some okada riders in the guise of enforcing the law.
Thousands of motorcycles belonging to okada riders have been seized and auctioned or destroyed.
However, the traffic law has come under widespread criticism for the strong arm tactics employed by policemen and traffic agents.

Radical Zimbabwean preacher, Bishop Tudor Bismark caused a major stir in London on November 2nd when he confessed to sleeping with his boss in front of a 3000+ capacity crowd.
The crowd had gathered to hear an array of speakers of the who’s who of Chistiandom at the annual International Gathering of Champions hosted by British super-church, Kingsway International Christian Church.
KICC was also celebrating its purchase of a 24acre facility worth £30 million for a paltry £5 million. The facility has been aptly named Prayer City.

With great bravado, Bismarck of Jabula New Life Covenant Church in Harare said:
“I am sleeping with my boss!”.
His ‘confession’ was received with shocked gasps followed by nervous giggles and muted applause. While it was not quite clear, the internationally recognised preacher, is believed to have rhetorically meant his wife, who is also a pastor in his church.
Having made his ‘shocking confession’, Bishop Tudor Bismark then went on to tear off the roof off the Excel building. Bismark who was scheduled to speak for 40minutes preached for one hour. His message which brought the house down was titled “God will change His mind”
He said “Every now and then God will jump into our lives and makes some changes.” God is moved by worship. His message was taken from 2 Kings 19:14-21, 32-37 KJV.
So powerful was his message, by the time this charismatic Zimbabwean son was through the 3000+ crowd was on its feet in riotous applause.
Also on her feet was Bismarck love interest and fellow Pastor Chichi Bismark (his wife). The applause went on for a full 12minutes after which, Bishop Bismark left the stage in his customary swagger.

Put this one down as one of those things you never knew you wanted to know: Yes, astronauts can vote from space.
According to NASA spokesman Jay Bolden, who spoke with Space.com, the Americans living aboard the International Space Station are able to cast their ballots in Tuesday’s election with a little help from the people in Mission Control.
“They send [their digital ballot] back to Mission Control,” Bolden said. It’s a secure ballot that is then sent directly to the voting authorities.”
American commander Sunita Williams and flight engineer Kevin Ford are two of the six people currently speeding around the Earth at more than 17,000 miles per minute. As it happens, both were able to vote absentee from a significantly more conventional location–Russia–before they launched for space.
The system was put in place for orbital voting in 1997, thanks to a bill passed by Texas legislators. Nearly all NASA’s astronauts live near Houston, Texas, where the Johnson Space Center (and Mission Control) is located.
The first person to vote from pace was David Wolf, participating in a 1997 local election. Leroy Chiao became the first American to vote in a presidential election from space in 2004.

Jordan’s Muslim Brotherhood however on Saturday condemned Halloween celebrations held in an Amman cafe as “Satanic” and homosexual, while a newspaper reported acts of vandalism at the party.

“We watched with disgust and shame last night [Friday] homosexual and Satanic rituals in an Amman cafe,” the Brotherhood said in a statement on its website.
“This presents a challenge to the values of the Jordanian people and their Arab and Muslim identity, as well as a violation of religious laws,” it added.
The group demanded that those who organised the party be tried for the “grotesque act”, decrying that such events are allowed to go ahead when the people are “stricken by poverty and amid political crises” in Jordan.
Al Ghad newspaper, meanwhile, reported that violence broke out when “angry youths tried to prevent the Halloween celebrations from taking place” in the cafe in Amman.
It said they tried to storm the cafe, throwing stones and setting fire to property, causing a traffic jam until early Saturday.
Although poverty levels are running at 25 per cent in the desert kingdom, several independent studies say its capital Amman is the most expensive city in the Arab world.

Okay, this took my quite sometime to build but i did; it’is also an issue that almost everyone of us has been through at one time or the other, yea I’ve been through it but even if you’ve not it’s best you know before then; well that’s if you ever…
It’s about Break Ups….awwww, i didn’t mean to remind you of them..hmmm…well just keep reading.
Even if a break-up was inevitable and you’re sure you are better off, you cannot automatically stop caring about the other person. It’s commonplace to wonder how they’ve been doing, what they’ve been up to, and most importantly, whether they still miss you or they’ve moved on. Post break-up jealousy is sometimes an even bigger issue than the one you ultimately feel when you’re in a relationship because now you get to actually face your worst nightmare when he or she gets a new date. All the anonymous potential date vultures have now merged and materialized into one real person of flesh and blood. And maybe the worst part of it all is that you no longer have the right to protest. Your first impulse is to feel angry, betrayed and disappointed. As much as you try to overcome these emotions, they keep seizing you and making you freak out.
Fortunately, this issue is a pretty common one and – believe it or not – not half as hard to overcome as it seems in the beginning. Here are some suggestions to help you overcome such jealousy following a break-up.
1. Get yourself together. Repeat to yourself as much as it takes that eventually everything will turn out for the better. Remember that it is not a real, physical factor that instigates your anger, fear and panic. There is nothing coming up that threatens you; rather, it’s all inside of you and your job is to get rid of it in order to feel in harmony again. Once you convince yourself you’re safe, you will start feeling in control and capable of dealing with all sorts of negative emotions.

Take a head-on approach to your negative feelings. Rather than regarding them as inevitable and natural, seek ways to change them into helpful attitudes, ones that will support you rather than cause you to feel powerless and helpless. Be fully aware that negative emotions keep you connected to the loss, while a positive attitude allows you to let go of the person while still acknowledging that you once had a relationship with this person without causing you to feel upset.
Be kind to yourself. Do you really need to put yourself through this? No!
2. Do not spend time thinking about what your jealousy is “actually” about. Focusing on the negative emotions will put you in a vulnerable position. You can easily confuse the anger and fear as meaning that you’re still in love with your ex and that you need to get them back. Obsessing over their new flame – who they are, what they do, how they can be eliminated – is even worse and more dangerous. Thoughts about them will not help you realize what you don’t like about yourself and what you need to change. Such thoughts will only trap you in more fear, self-doubt, pain, and jealousy and will prevent you from moving on.
Bear in mind that dissecting the nitty gritty of what could or should have been is living in the past by letting nostalgia trap you into a past period of life. Although often stated, the apt adage “It is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all” is as equally often overlooked; yet, it is far healthier to appreciate that you once loved this person but that now it is time to move on. It is possible to cherish the experience for what it was without letting it drag you back all the time.
And if you really can’t stop wondering, at its most basic, jealousy is about wanting something you feel you don’t have. The only lesson for you to take away from this is to answer for yourself what it is that’s missing inside of you and to remedy it by concentrating more on personal growth (see steps below). Think of it this way – even if you did get X person back, would this deep gnawing gap inside be filled? No – because no person can fill an internal dissatisfaction; only you have that power.

A few weeks ago, Freeze granted D’banj an interview on his ‘Road Show’ when the pop star paid a visit to COOL FM. Freeze was not shy of taking frequent swipes at Don Jazzy, teasing D’banj to begin ‘dashing’ phone airtime (credit) on Twitter as some people got quite famous from doing so.
He also joked about D’banj buying Don Jazzy’s Bentley among other things. He also didn’t hesitate to help D’banj take jabs at Eedris Abdulkareem when the questions of the KENNIS Music rapper’s issues with D’banj arose.
