Nairaland GeneralRe: OMG! What I Witnessed On An ATM Section Of Union Bank. by chikkaobi(m): 11:08pm On Nov 16, 2015

Some dudes are so funny, We were on a queue @ ATM section on Union Bank this morning. Before me was a plumpy-looking lady, as she was approaching the ATM machine, one sharp guy started to discuss with her and this guy comes after me in d queue while the lady was before me. What baffled us all @ the queue was that this particular guy immediately gave the lady in question his own ATM and said that he had never done that to anyone but because he just saw her and liked her and trusted her. All broke to laughter, he was even bold enough, d next thing was that he whispered to d lady his ATM pin and told her to withdraw for him 15,700, The lady withdrew the money and also did her own transactions after which he gave the guy d money. All started laughing, when I was through with mine I later saw both of them branched to an eatery. I was dumbfounded, I asked my self- Is this Love@first sight or what?
Haba! Bros take it easy. 15,700? which ATM will dispense such cash in this era? This is 2015 man, not 2001.

Nairaland GeneralRe: MTN Charges Me 50 Million Naira For Caller ID Service by chikkaobi(op): 8:32am On Nov 12, 2015

there is a decimal point after the 50 not a comma. the implication of that is that anything after the decimal point is a fraction. as there are only zeros after the decimal the value is 50. not 50 million. its primary school mathematics.
Exactly what I thought, but not when I've got above 50 in my balance.

Earlier today, I woke up to CallerID renewal message from MTN and got the shocker of my life.
N50 million naira was needed to renew the service.

BTW, I've got above N50 in my balance.

Nairaland GeneralSanusi's Daughter Teaches Linda Ikeji And Her Readers Newton's Law by chikkaobi(op): 1:32pm On Nov 03, 2015

Yesterday, Linda shared photos of one of the daughters of Emir of Kano; Yusra Muhammad Sanusi II.
Not only is she upset that Linda described her as 'stunning'... She's particularly upset with comments that followed.
She sent Linda a mail which she wanted her to share with readers. But somewhere along the line, she educated Linda and her readers on Newton's Law.

Read her Mail Below:

Hi Linda, I hope you're well. I saw your blog post about my picture and although I am flattered that you think I'm stunning, I find the comments rather offensive. The comments could be classified under two categories: either made by perverts or made by people who used the opportunity to disregard my father's marital affairs. I am aware that you cannot control your viewer's opinions, but you violated My right of privacy by putting up pictures of me on your blog, when you don't even know me personally.

There is more to a person than meets the eye. By putting up my pictures and describing me as "pretty" and "stunning", you are judging me based on my physical appearances. Truth is, this is exactly what is wrong with the world. We reduce people and describe them using shallow and physical adjectives. For the commenter who insisted that I was only pretty with make up on, we live in a world full of Nigerians who spend hundreds, and even thousands on Brazilian and Indian wigs, bleaching creams and fake nails. And you are looking down on me because I am wearing make up?

And, in case you do speak to your commenters, please tell them that I am not married for "royal ties". And yes, I am older than my father's last wife, but why should that be anybody 's business? To the ignorant commenter who shamed my father for marrying a young wife: My father is a Muslim and his marriage is legal before Islamic Law (look up Prophet Muhammad S.A.W 's marriage to Nana Aisha). If The Almighty God permits his marriage, who are you to condemn it? Why should he please you, the creation, when he can please The Creator?

Going forward, I will appreciate it if you would be as kind as to remove my pictures from your blog so as to stop similarly insulting comments.

But do feel free to post this email on your blog because a lot of ignorant people that read your blog need an educated response."For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction".

- Khadija Yusra Muhammad Sanusi II.
Taking into consideration her final quote that says; "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction".
She just taught both Linda and her readers Newton's third Law of Motion.

Exactly what I want to avoid. Nennin, stop trying to hijack the topic.
Else you might be banned.
Am a Trader and If you check my post well, you will realise I didn't derail from the topic.
Not everyone can be a Trader, and if you are truly a Big Trader, you won't be telling people to come invest because as a Trader, I don't need any investor cash.
You can double yours multiple time, so why interested in others cash to trade.

just dat u fail to do ur research wella, cuz if u have a Forex signal provider wit copy trade dat can guarantee u 40%/months

I purposely didn't wanna say a thing about his comment because I don't want to be seen as someone who hijack a topic.

But the fact is that, the 1m I wanted to invest at Stanbic on Tbills was actually made from Forex.
But a good trader will know its bad to trade every now and then.
But the fact still remains that, if the trader you gave 250k didn't give anything in return, he is probably a practicing trader or was greedy to have lost it all.
In Forex, you control how much you wanna gain and how much you wanna lose.
But if you wanna trade, don't trade with anything below 1m.
That's all i can add to that.

Back to the topic, Check my attached image to see how Stanbic promised me 10% for 91days and that was why i was surprised when I saw this topic.
And since many are saying same thing here, I prefer to "Take a Bow and Go continue Trading Forex"

Slow down bruh.
Divide dat 100,000 by 4, yes, the answer is wat u get for 91days tenure. 25k.
If its for 364days, goin wit ur rate (14%) den u get 140,000.
Dats it. If its for 182days, den calculate the rate and divide by 2, if its for 91days, u divide by 4.
quertyquack: LOL! 100k for 1m in 91days. You sef check am now.
Weew... Then stanbic has given me wrong info if this is the case.
Because I was wondering why anyone will wanna go for 1yr when 91days ROI is almost same with it.

Thanks a lot for the clarification.
Waiting for a whole year for a 14% ROI on 1m?

Mehn, I think I'll just have to "Take a bow and Go trade Forex"

pls be form that the bank may try to convince you with low interest rate, just try am be smart.

I have try almost all the banks with respect to their fixed deposit rate, but UBA seems to be the best with good interest rate. though I invested for 3 months with interest rate of 9%. the good thing is that ones my money is been roll over the interest rate increase .
You mean 9 / 4?

4 as in 4 x3months makes 1 year.
Let's stop confusing people here. The 9% isn't for 3months but for 1year.
InvestmentRe: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by chikkaobi(m): 5:58pm On Oct 25, 2015
Please can someone clarify for me why people go for 1yr TBills instead of 91days tenure?
In a situation where 91days is 10%, 180days is 12% and 365 days is 14%

Why will anyone wanna go for 365 days tenure?
Or is the 10% for 91days fake?

Assuming I have 1million
Going for 91days gives me 100,000 ROI on 10% right?
Or is this wrong?

PropertiesLinda Ikeji Mansion Real Price And Amount Bought by chikkaobi(op):
I have seen people talk about the price of Linda's mansion.
And I can't but say something about it.
Via PrivateProperty the mansion was listed for N650million
However via mobofree, it was listed at N680million

This prices are negotiable and that was why Linda was able to get it below N600million.
The worth of the house itself isn't more than N100million. However the land it was built on was the catch, and that costs way above 300million.
