Funny how kids will go to war over inheritance but go missing when it's time to take care of their parents. The same people fighting over land, houses, and bank accounts suddenly have "busy schedules" when their parents need help. They forget who paid their school fees, who stayed up at night when they were sick, and who made sacrifices to give them a better life. If we can argue about what our parents left behind, shouldn’t we put the same energy into taking care of them while they’re still here? Because at the end of the day, true inheritance isn’t just about what we collect, it’s about the love and care we give in return.

Nigerian business mogul Folorunsho Alakija, 73, has reportedly lost her vision following a distressing air incident. According to Sahara Reporters, medical sources claim that the near air mishap while traveling with her husband, Modupe Alakija, chairman of Famfa Oil triggered a severe spike in her blood pressure, ultimately affecting her eyesight. Following the ordeal, Alakija allegedly opted to purchase a new private jet to avoid flying with her husband. However, despite this precaution, her vision continued to deteriorate, eventually leading to complete blindness. A source revealed, “She had a near air mishap, and her blood pressure shot up, affecting her eyes. Instead of seeking medical treatment, she chose to start a church. Now, she can’t see.” Beyond this reported health challenge, Alakija remains a powerful figure in business and philanthropy. The founder of Rose of Sharon Glorious Ministry International, she transitioned from a career in fashion to securing a significant stake in Nigeria’s lucrative OML 127 oil block through Famfa Oil. Ranked among Africa’s richest women, Alakija’s journey from a secretary in Lagos to a billionaire entrepreneur remains an inspiration.

Tragedy struck at Pako Police Station, Amukoko Roundabout, Ajeromi Ifelodun Local Government Area, Lagos, as a well-known businesswoman and grandmother was brutally murdered by her own grandson. The 16-year-old allegedly stabbed her to death before fleeing with ₦4 million in cash and valuable gold jewelry. According to reports, the boy had been living with his grandmother, who frequently traveled to Cotonou, Benin Republic, to buy goods for resale in Nigeria. On Friday, February 21, 2025, she was preparing for another business trip when her grandson discovered she had a large sum of money meant for purchasing goods. Driven by greed, he allegedly attacked her with multiple knives, killing her in cold blood before escaping with the money and jewelry. Shockingly, the crime went unnoticed for three days until Sunday, February 23, 2025, when a family member visited the house and made the horrifying discovery. The elderly woman was found lying in a pool of blood, with three knives at the crime scene, indicating the brutal nature of the attack. Residents of the area remain in shock and mourning, while the police have launched a manhunt for the fleeing suspect.

Everyone is feeling the heat of the market. I'm telling you; only few survived this crash but that is the beauty of the market. It will make you learn, relearn and re plan but some are so unlucky that they will lost their capital and that's the end of their trading adventures. Red days will pass and we will soon be back to 🍏 we just need to hang in there while watching the wonders the market movers are performing. Like I do say, if you're trading, make sure you have enough fund on ground to atleast last you for three months to avoid all these dramas. |

Eventually, they will get tired. This is not a permanent solution. How long will they keep borrowing to defend/sustain the NAIRA? What is Nigeria producing? As long as we keep relying on other countries products, our currency will always be a joke. This gragra is just for a short time. We will see if they can sustain this in few months time. ojukwu2074: |
Where do you want them to leave to? |
Have you ever been loved unconditionally? 😁😁 No matter your opinion, I believe this is true love. Sadly, many have never experienced real love.
