That can be done with the mechanic wrench or spanner to pull it. It has to be relaxed. Before belt can go in and once you release, the belt become very tight

IMO , tensioner is ok.
Get a TOKS 7PK2170 or 6Pk2165

My mechanic will check it today. I honestly don’t know if the issue is with the pulley or the tensioner. Mine doesn’t cut completely, but it starts peeling off at the sides and becomes very thin. The part that peels partially begins to make noise. When I looked yesterday, I noticed the belt was sitting on the sharp edge of one of the pulleys instead of staying in the middle of that pulley. I’m not sure if that pulley is misaligned or if another one in the group is the problem. How can I tell if it’s the tensioner?

If you can't tense/relax the tensioner,then it's bad. QED.

7PK2170 is the recommended belt size.
You can squeeze in 6PK2160 - 6PK2165 though.
Buy tokunbo belt or import OEM from US.
China belt will snap before 1500km

I have been coming here to complain about my rough idling and vibration issue for a while now and I have been able to resolve it. Apparently the engine does not compress well anymore as a result of abuse by the previous owner.

So yesterday, I headed to zuba with a friend of mine who's also a mechanic to get a replacement engine.

The engine we got was so clean internally and externally. It was shiny and a direct toks.

After about 3 hours the engine was installed. New engine oil 5w30 and filter was installed.

Car runs silently and not a single vibration when AC and All electrical loads were applied.

Not a single CEL too. Thermostat and original fan config remains. I took the thermostat from the new engine also as a backup for whenever this one fails.

I think Honda Accord K20 oil spec is 5w20.

I use an R18 which has been running for 18years plus on 5w20.
