Why must they have a Twitter and YouTube account.. And you said you want to teach them free.. baba you looking for money..
Yes they must.

And yes, I'm going to teach them for free and two, I am looking for money but I won't ask them to pay me. I can get money elsewhere

No need.

Chatgbt will do it for free.
Lol, you think Chatgpt Can code for you?
Okay, to be sincere, as a developer, you will need Chatgpt but Chatgpt cannot build an app for you. Chatgpt will only provide code snippets and even at that, it will provide codes with bugs 50% of times. It's your job to debug this codes and bring them together to form an app.

Chatgpt will not help your program, it can help you code. Programming requires thinking and it's a skill that is learned. Chatgpt cannot help you set software architecture.

Keep it coming, this class is going to be interactive.

By the end of the class, we would have built a fully functional web app.

lol

e get one time wey I forget to add mx-auto to center <div> content. I wasted a whole day trying to figure it out. that time chatgpt no even exist to aid me in troubleshooting cry cry cry

the Good thing is that anything I learn the hard way in programming I can code and troubleshoot even in my sleep.
I will still take out time to look at it very well. Just that most time I am under pressure to deliver some features, so whenever the classes does not give me what I want, I don't have the time to start looking for it, I go just use style prop.

BBIA:

That means you are missing something?

explain exactly what you intend to do lemme see if I can help?

what is your expected outcome and what is the result after you set it to w-80?

setting break points in tailwind is a breeze. you just prefix the size to the class and that’s it. eg lg:w-100 md:w-80 sm:w-60 xs:w-40 … thats it.
I understand these things but sometimes, e go just misbehave. I no dey get patience at all 😅
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: I Just Secured My First Tech Job. I'm So Happy. by chinasaekpere: 10:11pm On Feb 08
BBIA:

After using tailwindcss I can bet my balls that you wouldn’t want to go back to bootstrap that is a pin in the ass when it comes to customization.

Since I started using tailwind, I have never looked back.
Yeah but tailwind dey Bleep up sometimes.
I want to set w-80 from w-100 and it keeps misbehaving. I just usually use the react style prop to do what I want to do when it starts its wahala, however this means that setting breakpoints will be more difficult.

I am still getting a perfect hank on it Sha but so far, I think it is more flexible than Bootstrap.

It's a marketing gimmick.

Those providing programming training courses for self-taught without a degree in CS/programming related field are just using a thread like this one to cash in on gullible people that will want to rush and start a programming course.
lol, be playing.
You must be a fool person to think that anyone cares about your degree when it comes to tech.

Oga, if you can solve the problem better than the CS guy, you will get the job ahead of him.

which tech should I learn? I want to be earning millions monthly.
Depends on what you have passion for man.

I think there are more opportunities in Nigeria for UI/UX designers, frontend Angular or React developers, backend, mernstack developers, mobile developers.
You can also learn wordpress and still make money.

Java, C#, C++ and C are also hotcakes, they are harder to learn and usually for desktop software and game development. They are rare in Nigeria, especially a C developer.

Machine learning never start for naija at all so you may not find a job opportunity here. Data analysis is under-appreciated in Nigeria

if you have enough experience in tech, the sky is your limit.

My mentor earns $2000 monthly working remotely for a U.S BASED here in Nigeria. However, you need to pay your dues.

Whether Nigeria wants to scatter, e no concern am

most university computer science department don't even teach coding to their students, the students learn it Nigeria have the worst educational sector. UNN too is living on past glories, after our 2013 graduation set. The school educational system got destroyed. Just living on past glories of antecedents and retrospect analysis.
I didn't even study computer science but I have a tech skill.
Studying computer science is usually an added advantage though so I can actually let my children study the course

I haven't gotten a portfolio, what and what actually makes a portfolio?

Secondly, since one hasn't gotten any job on coding before, what should be the basis of the CV.

Thanks for your response.
when you work on projects and put it in your portfolio, you can mention those projects in your CV.

I started watching Ronaldo in Manchester united. He has never won the best dribbler or playmaker.
Hazard has won it many times in the EPL.

What can Hazard do that Nani can't??

Dribbling?
Skills?
Shots?
Free kicks?
Assists?
Crosses?
Passing?
Longevity??

How can a finished player at 29 be comparing himself with an EPL Goat??

Oloriburuku hazard didn't even play in the tough era of the EPL, with Savage and Tugay etc
Jokerman stop joking

Nigeria would win the world cup if given penalties like Argentina
This is just the usual cry of sore losers.

I understand that it's painful that Ronaldo will never get his hands on biggest prize but Messi has but don't be a sore loser.

I DONT RESPOND TO YOUR TYPE!
I think we need to understand what Hazard meant.
Ronaldo is a bigger footballer but I terms on the flow of the game like holding the ball and creating magic, Hazard and Neymar are better than Ronaldo.

Hazard can hold the ball, turn 5 defenders and destrupt the defence while creating chances for strikers. Ronaldo no really sabi do that kind thing

During leisure, I decided to build some stuff to improve my web dev skills and to increase the number of projects I will be putting on my portfolio when it's ready.

So, The first is my NLand api, which created with the help of puppeteer web scrapper, it's built with node/express and deployed to render due to its size
Check front page here - https://NLand.onrender.com

Next is recreating the clone itself, I did a lot of changes, frontend - react deployed to netlify, backend- Node/express deployed to cyclic. https://NLand.netlify.app

And also, a domain availability checker I built with the popular claymorphism design - https://domain-checker.netlify.app

I am available to answer questions on the API routes, and also available for web dev jobs and work support and referrals.

Thanks.
Good work.
