Travel / Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 7 by chinco19(f): 1:17pm On Apr 12, 2022
Good day All, please I need guidance.

My fiancé and I both got admitted for Masters in the UK. We both plan to study by Sep 2022 with plans to get married. Please do you advise we get married before the visa application and still apply individually or get married after visa is approved. It’s just confusing as we have both made deposit payments.

You are entitled to your opinion.... But your opinion should not be one that would raise tension. If you did the medical you would know why I said it's just formality.

I did the medicals too. Didn't look like formality to me. I didn't intend to cause tension though. I am sorry if that was what was passed across.

For those who may have been jittery because of my posts, I am sorry. That wasn't the intention. May we all scale through. Amen.

Don't come and say what you DON'T know! Medical is just a formality so no-one can fail it. FBN employs even if you are combining 2 results. So I don't think people would have issues with that.
Please don't come and give people unnecessary High BP or be spreading misinformation! If you did documentation and medical DON'T worry, if FBN said there was a glitch, who are YOU to say there wasn't?

if you took your time to go through what I typed, you wouldn't have missed where I said I saw that on an old thread. And on me saying there was no glitch anywhere, am I not entitled to my opinion? Before you got your mail, didn't you voice out what u thought was the problem? I am not misinforming anyone as I earlier stated that they were thoughts.

Talmabout "medicals is just a formality so no-one one can fail it" kmt

Pls people those that want to keep hope alive should keep doin that it will pay off at the end those that want to keep assuming all manner pls stop discouraging others if u want to move on, move on and stop trying to make other people give up. Even where I did my documentation and medical in Abj there were two heavily pregnant women there and nothing stopped them from going to training school. First bank has no problem with pregnant women. Keep hope alive, if they dint want us they would not be explaining themselves to us after all what's so hard in telling someone " you dint make the cut move on" instead of just allowing them disturb you all the time.

Please where did my posts read that one should move on? Like for crying out loud, why would it be at this stage that one would move on? I actually pray it doesn't come to that.. Why not keep giving us hope instead of being silent

Don't get me scared! Please! If you have issues with your credentials, you definitely can't proceed for medicals, you won't be cleared to proceed for medicals.I'm quite certain I didn't fail my medicals as well,I'm as fit as a fiddle chinco. We can only give them a benefit of doubt as the batch talk has been echoed by different HR persons some have spoken to.Many who did documentation/medical but didn't get TS mail failed medicals but people who didn't do medicals/documentation but made TS are medically fit automatically without any examination?

Lol my dear, I am not saying it with certainty but it wouldn't hurt to think things through. Those that were invited for TS would definitely do medicals and documentation before the commencement date. The issue might be an error on their part. Someone said her friend wasn't initially invited cos the medical report stated she was pregnant. she only got to know this when she visited their office. she insisted she wasn't pregnant and they confirmed this. I am not saying this was what happened in our case but it definitely shouldn't be ruled out. I am scared and worried too.. The oblivion is sickening. In relation to the HR reps that keep saying it's in batches, at the end of the day, they can vindicate themselves cos when the next set for medicals is invited, that's another batch.. lol

I think we should calm down. Really, I kept refreshing my mailbox the evening other TS hopefuls got mails. But then, we can't conclude on what issue there is or not yet. The last recruitment ran for about 2 years by the way.
My dear, don't be surprised.

People are you sure they dint eliminate people based on age mayb they reduced the age bracket to mayb say 25. Jst my thought.

The HR Reps should be able to give a convincing reason why we were left out, whatever that is. This is what happens when companies do not send regret mails. It is very unfair to keep people in the dark. At this point, I don't know what to assume again. I really don't.

Eh..I don't even know what story to believe again. Did you people really receive mails? If yes, kindly post a screenshot. Why are the HR reps calling these people directly? Don't they have a record of those that documented with them? if no, does the medical centre not have a record? Why is it that no one on Nairaland, who has done medand doc, has received any mail? I tire for this whole thing o..

This is getting serious...
I think the Sally person is tricking us. if you really were called for TS after doing medicals and documentation, you should care less about people reporting or not because you are in the safe zone.

I still can't wrap my head around why those who weren't invited for documentation and medicals are being invited before those who were. Is/was there a mix up somewhere?

Hehehe... Guess tour heart stopped beating for a while... Anyway, since we have contact persons at the HR, I don't think it's bad to place a call through to them to confirm what's up... Though I shall be most glad if the TS starts after the SE guys are done... But just to stop being too anxious and refreshing mails like 100 times per minute...

Oh yes, it did. lol

Bewere of 418 and 419 .

In as much as I understand that trust has been a serious issue in Nigeria, I also think it is very silly to shade all investment outlets outside banks as scams. For crying out loud, you have no proof yet you are trying to mislead someone else. It is people like you that banks are actually looking for- people with no knowledge of the actual yield they are entitled to and therefore give the banks free money to trade with. Our advisory services leaves you the option of either keeping your money with your bank where we will then advise on the necessary steps to take or buy through our custodians at the primary market. Please, if you cannot confirm something, conjectures are not the best of ways to project your insecurities.
