Phones / Re: MODIFIED - MTN 200GB AND ABOVE DATA SHARING... UNRESOLVED!!! by chineduace(m): 4:48am On Sep 23
The wisest thing they should have done is to allow the existing data subscribers to exhaust their plan and afterwards they can do whatever they want.

However MTN is not wise.

They will never win this one.

You can't change a term of service while the service is still running.
Phones / Re: MODIFIED - MTN 200GB AND ABOVE DATA SHARING... UNRESOLVED!!! by chineduace(m): 5:21pm On Sep 21
Seems MTN is at it again

400GB and 1TB has been suspended again for data sharing again.
200GB added as well.

This is a clear breach of contract!!!

Time to storm NCC

Phones / MODIFIED - MTN 200GB AND ABOVE DATA SHARING... UNRESOLVED!!! by chineduace(m): 9:05am On Jul 11
Many Nigerians woke up to suddenly find out that they can no longer share the 400GB and 1TB data plans.

It generated an outrage and NCC has intervened.

It is a breach of contract and it seems MTN were ill-advised on the plan to suspend the data sharing for the particular bundle.

I had to call MTN CC and it was confirmed since there was no official statement before and after. So to be sure I chatted with two different agents incase they deny it again...lol

Anyway... ISSUE HAS BEEN RESOLVED.

New update, the issue is back !!
400GB for 3 months, 200GB for 1 month and 1TB for 1 year

akposking:
Pls what is happening, it seems mtn zap more data than is required now.

Am angry typing this yesterday I bought 1 GB data and I browse just a couple pages only for mtn to zap almost 200mb from those pages.

I check my remains data balance and I was devastated.

Is this happening to you guys also.

I am neither for nor against any network providers but you need to understand how data gets zapped no matter the network. The slower the network eg Glo, the longer your data lasts.

Explanation...

It doesn't matter the network you are using, smart phones just get data hungry with data hungry apps even running at the background.
People load pictures and Videos in HD now
All Videos on sites and apps now load automatically
WhatsApp status with Videos
Instagram status and videos
Facebook status and video's
Web pages loading videos in the background
Web pages now with rich but heavy content
YouTube playing a promo video before your content starts to play
Google ads on every site...

All these sums up to more data usage.
With 3G you can stop the video before it starts to play
With 4G, the video has already loaded and played half way before you can stop

so it gets worse...

With 5G... all contents are loaded before the site even opens

...the list goes on

oga have you used eSim before? I used esim last year on Google pixel 3xl.

I don't understand your message.
I am just clarifying what you said.
The Google pixel is e-sim compatible.
Did you stay in your house and download the e-sim ?
Did you eventually go to the service provider office to be able to activate it and start using it.

We are not arguing here, I am just making sure the right message is passed.

e-sim is not downloaded.

Phones / Re: How To Convert A Sim Card To Esim by chineduace(m): 5:59pm On Mar 25

You need to understand the usage of the word download here. It is not a file that you can download and install.
Your phone has to be compatible with e-sim, you go to there office, they give you a QR code to scan (that is the meaning of the download here)

Phones / Re: How To Convert A Sim Card To Esim by chineduace(m): 8:11am On Mar 25
Your phone must be compatible with e-sim Technology.
If it is, then go to any service provider that supports e-sim like mtn and they will guide you through in minutes.

All big Tech companies in the world do data breaches and even deliberately.
They bank on the fact that before the data breach is detected, they have already made millions and billions from data mining. The subsequent fine they get from sanctions is not up to money they have made within the said period.

itel may be designed by oraimo , but that doesn't change the fact that itel is better than oraimo when it comes to powerbank, oraimo products dey fvck up as of recent now, so many fakes out there.

You may be right or not. Seems Oraimo is watering down quality or fakes are everywhere. I really don't know or care. I bought Oraimo products when all was still well.

P.s. .. if u have knowledge of accessories in general, u won't type ds trash, you should be able to know that accessories have series too, itel power bank is not just itel power bank, it has series too..talk about the itel star 200( 20,000 mAh ) power bank...oga the power bank get weight, na small but mighty...no be by name, itel star series dey last... tested and confirmed

This is a waste of my time.
Wait for me, let me go and confirm with video evidence fom Oraimo and Itel CEO

I am not talking of hear say, I said I have both products.
Itel power bank is designed by Oraimo.

Phones / Re: Which Power Bank Is Better Itel.or Oriamo by chineduace(m): 9:39pm On Sep 17, 2023
Itel version is a watered down version of Oraimo.
Remember that both item are made by Oraimo.
Logically, Oraimo would not make something that is better than their own product.
I have bought and used both simultaneously.
Itel works well the first few months and starts to degrade faster than the Oraimo.
Add the few 1 or 2k and save yourself the wahala for Oraimo.

I'm talking from 1st hand experience.

Your rates are high.
MTN, Glo and Airtel are now within 220 to 270 per GB
9mobile is within 130 to 170 oer GB.
I wouldn't redirect you to where so as not to spoil your market but pls research and review.
The profit is in volume not in the advert.
