BusinessRe: FG Collects 52 Kobo From Every ₦1 I Make From Selling Cement - Dangote (Video) by chinex11(m): 12:13pm On Apr 16
Cement is gotten from the raw material limestone, and dangote refines Nigerian limestone so majorly they are paying around that amount for the limestone used to crrate cement. Just as they pay for the crude oil used to make petrol

CodeTemplar:
Is tax based on final cost or on profit? No way govt will make 6k+ from 11k cement.

I merely shared my personal experience regarding the power situation. How you managed to twist that into some sort of “I’m better than my neighbour” mindset is honestly beyond me, and quite a stretch, even by your standards.
i have no issue with you sharing your experience but you making it feel like others who don't have electricity currently is at fault is where i draw the line.

nairalanda1:
He is not laughing at you, and he is also right.

Band A users pay a cost reflective tarrif, that is very expensive (there are Band A users that gripe on this site about their power expenses)...and in the time of gas shortages...the discos priortise them over others.

That is because, again, they pay a cost reflective tarrif. Majority of Nigerians do not pay a cost reflective tarrif, and that's why the power sector is running at chronic losses and has not had money, enough money, to pay the gas companies since 2013. Government subsides that were at best supposed to pay part of the gas money have been irregular and for a while haven't been paid.

Had there been cost reflective tarrifs since 2014, even since 1993, or earlier, by now we all would be on band A level service.
what i am trying to say is even in some states band A users are getting 0hrs of light because the Discos there are not being given light to distribute, this isnt because they are owing alone but because less electricity is being generated. This isn't a time to brag about who has light and who doesn't but to raise awareness that as a country continous effort should be put by the government to increase the state of electricity.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria’s Power Sector Crisis: Pressure Mounts On Tinubu To Sack Adelabu by chinex11(m): 11:11am On Mar 31
Richtaiwo:
From my understanding, if you are not indebted to the DisCos, you are unlikely to experience significant power issues. In my estate, electricity is available almost 24 hours a day, which makes it difficult for me to relate to the frequent complaints about power supply.

Even during a national grid collapse, the only noticeable impact in my estate is a slight reduction in daytime supply, we still have uninterrupted electricity throughout the night.
you just exibuted the typical nigerian i better pass my neighbour mentality

Did you notice that general power generation has dropped from 6000mw to 2800mw? Alot of discos are receiving 0mw daily to distribute and you are here laughing because you have light in your estate and others are suffering. Lets wait till generation hits 0mw before Nigerians can talk abi

All this breakdown is just for the media, after this media show nothing again in reality from that budget. Abians are tired with Alex otti poor leadership in reality.

Then who are those people going through the chronic hardship in Nigeria if you don't know anyone personally
i have noticed your comments over time to posts about Nigeria deteriorating and i can say that either you don't stay in Nigeria, or you are being delusional.

If you sincerely what to know how bad Nigeria is, take the value of minimum wage and try go to the market yourself then check the amount of food stuff you can get with it, then reason how much it can offer for the masses, its only then yku will realise how much if a mess Nigeria is rn

Thanks for this review, I really appreciate. Can we categorically say the picture quality of MeWe is better than Hisense?
it the same I have used both, the old difference Is that mewe screen is stronger, if it falls lightly or a slim person stand on it it won't break.
RomanceRe: Please Which Smart TV Should I Go For? by chinex11(m): 5:03pm On Jan 17, 2025
I currently use a mewe 55inches smart tv and i can assure you that its wonderful, the colour, it has
bluetooth which makes it easy to connect to my speaker(hisense doesn't), the magic remote. P.s it's basically LG inside even at the back of the remote you will see it was made by LG. It's actually quite durable. Hisense is also good i used it before i moved out of my former place i was staying with my guy. But i can assure you that the mewe is better
quisera:
Good morning everyone, please I'm currently in a dilemma as to which Smart TV to choose between the Hisense 50 inch A6 smart TV and MeWe 55 inches smart TV.
My dealer feels I should go for the Mewe TV because of its double screen features and all that while my girlfriend thinks the Hisense is better. Please I'll appreciate a honest review from anyone who has a good idea of both TV.
PS: Both TV are almost of same price
Factors to consider: Picture quality, sound quality and easy connection to apps

PoliticsRe: Will Abia Survive This Man? by chinex11(m): 12:02pm On Sep 19, 2024
MyX1:
WILL ABIA SURVIVE THIS MAN?

Out of the over N30bn he spent last year on running his office, he claimed N574.64m for international travels that returned ZERO VALUE to Abians.

Recall that he spent N26bn last year on the entire Abia workforce while he spent over N30bn in running his office.

He went to Hungary and Rwanda last year, and claimed N575m.... what a great saviour! This was more than the N300m he paid Abia Poly workers which was highly publicised.

He has already embarked on a few of these futile visits in 2024, and is about to do more now.

This ill-fated visit appears like smart way to claim more hundreds of millions of Naira of public funds for himself.

This is a guy that has created NO SINGLE JOB and has completed no LANDMARK PROJECT since he came to power 16 months ago, when Abia has earned over N400bn.

Pray for Abia..

By the time he is finished with Abia, ha ga-ekweta!

University of Buckingham, England must be careful about who they invite to these prestigious institutions. They must review their track records.

See pictures 2 &3 Evidence of Alex C. Otti's 2023 spend on international travels.

You can as well follow the link below , it will take you straight to the state Government financial reports as released by Gov Alex Otti's Government and you'll see things yourself. Open the website and click on Download👇

I don’t like Obaseki, but the Oghoghobi people ought to have done their findings before purchasing government land. Just walk into EdoGIS, conduct a search on the land you want to buy and you game.

Again, Obaseki performed abysmally in road development. I stay on PZ road off Sapele Road. Going home is hectic as Sapele Road is in bad shape. Obaseki can argue for all we care that Sapele Rod is FG road, but na Edo indigenes Dey stay there and he can do more than wait for FG or put up notices that it is a FG road. However, in terms of human capital development and civil service, Obaseki will get an A1, quote me anywhere. If you are in Benin, I can take you around and show you that.

That said, Asuen himself has a rich CV that we cannot look away from. Same with Akpata. If it’s your company, will you leave the both and employ Okpebolor?
exactly no truer words. This election supposed be between asue and akpata. If no be rigging wetin go make that apc guy feel like say he get hope?

Your father's house is backward.

Educated people call nations such as ours 'DEVELOPING COUNTRIES', and those make up 85% of the world's 202 countries.

''As of January 2024, the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs classified 37 countries as "developed economies". In contrast, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) classifies 152 countries as developing nations, indicating that most of the world's regions are developing''.

So you can take your ''backward'' bullshiit and stuff it up your ass.
so statistics asides, you belive Nigeria is developing?

PoliticsRe: Oil Companies Projected To Supply Dangote Refinery, Others 597,700 BPD Of Crude by chinex11(m): 10:32pm On Aug 12, 2024
Sheuns:
Processing of crude oil means refining it to other usable fuels like petrol, diesel, aviation fuel. Crude oil is extracted from the ground. It’s a natural occurring mineral.
there is a pre processing after extraction where dirty, water and other impurities are removed, then in most cases some additives are added. This now makes it the proper crude oil. Further processing (fractional distillation) of this new produced crude is what now brings about the different petroleum products

Crude oil production companies or crude oil extraction companies.
crude oil production, they actually process the oil after extraction. Its after the processing that we can now call the produce crude oil

Upon the fact that Godwin Obaseki failed as a governor to deliver infrastructural development very critical to Edo state and on Benin urban corridor in particular, they are arge to return his candidate. Nigerians deserve the bad governance they get. If you ask some of them, the motive is that they are swirled by ethnic and tribal consideration. All of a sudden, mobs are singing for Asue.... and for which antecedent? The answer is: his tribal antecedent. That is the same scenario in the last presidential election; despite the fact that Buhari looted the country with his Fulani brothers, they returned his candidate Tinubu
As a current resident of benin right now this your statement is very laughable sha. Though i haven't been a large expance of Edo state. But i can say he tried within benin metropolise and where he couldn't meet up in infrastructure he covered up in trying to boost the mirco economy of the state which the previous governors had always overlooked
