JimiCoker:
Chinilive I was once in a relationship with a girl that had all the attributes I stated and more. Things got messed up, but I'm always gonna love her. It got to a point where showering her with gifts, chocolates and all that stuff became child's play. I guess most folks won't get it until they meet their soulmate. So yes, if I were blessed to meet such a girl again, I would surrender my heart to her in a flash.
But only to a girl worthy of it. I may not be vastly wealthy, but I do value my heart.

wink wink wink wink wink wink wink [Clapping] We have a belieber.... Well said.. Well said.

@JimiCoker Its sad that some girls don't believe in being faithful. However, would you miss out on the real deal when the right girl comes along. Would you risk not showing her how you feel because you believe most girls are the same.
What if she acts a certain way because she does not believe she is Loved... It would be a real loss. Don't you think?

@lefulefu Its really, food for thought

More Romantic Gestures:

11) Does he remember important dates in your life? The day you both met? Your first kiss? Birthdays?
12) Does he hold carry your handbag and shoes, when your hands are filled with groceries?
13) Does he cook for you when you are ill? [Not just order takeouts]
14) Does he brag about you when with friends?
15) Does he say 'please' and 'thank you'?
16) Does he like to cuddle? [Not just because of sex]
17) Does he say 'I am sorry' when he is wrong? [or continues as if nothing ever happened]
18) Does he hold your hand while crossing the street?
19) Does he send you naughty texts while at work or class? [He's thinking about you]
20) Does he give you the last piece of meat on his plate? [hehehehe, Just saying?]

Is there a better way to say 'I love you' other than these Romantic Gestures?

Are Nigerian Men Romantic?

First of all, what's our definition of "Being Romantic"
1. Does he say "I Love You" with a deep sincere look in his eyes? [Not only during sex and on your wedding day]
2. Does he buy you flowers and chocolates?
3. Does he move you out of harm's way, when taking a stroll by the road.
4. Does he hold your hand in public?
5. Does he kiss you on the lips? [Not cheeks or forehead]
6. Does he hug you affectionately, for no other reason than he missed you?
7. Does he call just to know how you are doing?
8. Does he have long conversations with you about everything and anything?
9. Does he always want to be with you? No matter the weather or football season?
10. Does he stand up for you? [Defends you in-front of friends and family?

Is this also your definition or "being romantic" or are there some missing points?
Should Nigerian Men be romantic?

I think 'YES' but in an intelligent and mature way. It SCREAMS "I love you to her" [if she is the right one]
