FOOD FOR THOUGHT *Do not be in a hurry to build with a poor man simply because he looks humble, hungry, or ambitious. Poverty itself is not a crime, but sometimes it hides character until opportunity and money arrive.* *The true test of a man is not when he has nothing. The true test begins when resources, influence, and power start passing through his hands. That is when values are exposed, loyalty is tested, and character speaks louder than words.* *One reason Hon. Emeka Martins Chinedu has been able to perform impressively is because politics did not introduce him to money. He had seen comfort, responsibility, relationships, and influence before public office. He did not come to office to survive. He came to serve.* *In politics, especially within the National Assembly, experience, ranking, relationships, and personal capacity are not theories. They are realities.* *Many first time lawmakers, under intense pressure from constituents who demand immediate empowerment, projects, and visible results, often find themselves borrowing money, selling personal assets, or depending on friends, sponsors, and financiers just to create the impression that they have arrived.* *There is nothing wrong with sacrifice. But the question is, what happens when a man comes into power empty and surrounded by endless demands?* *Think about it.* *Use your tongue to count your teeth.*

EMERGENCE OF EMEKA CHINEDU FOR THIRD TERM BID: A RESOUNDING APPROBATION FOR CONTINUITY AND PROGRESS IN AHIAZU EZINIHITTE FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY. By Onukwufor Victor Asika. (ebengu Umudim) It is with great pride and unbridled enthusiasm that I hail Hon. Emeka Chinedu's bid for a third term as the representative of Ahiazu /Ezinihitte Federal Constituency. This announcement, has sent ripples of excitement and miss feelings throughout the constituency, and for good reason. As a seasoned politician, Hon. Chinedu has consistently demonstrated unwavering dedication, unshakeable integrity, and an unrelenting passion for serving the people. His recent addresses to the APC expanded executives of AHAIZU/EZINIHITTE recently was a masterclass in leadership, showcasing his exceptional oratory skills, strategic vision, and ability to forge meaningful alliances. I recall my initial reservations about Hon. Chinedu's emergence as a politician while in in the opposition party, but his metamorphosis has been nothing short of remarkable. His decision to join the APC was a testament to his adaptability and willingness to put the interests of the people above personal considerations. Hon. Chinedu's assertion that legislative consistency yields greater democratic dividends Is a truism that resonates deeply with the aspirations of Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency. His track record of empowerment initiatives and developmental projects across the 24 wards while in PDP is a testament to his commitment to improving the lives of our people. I have no doubt if he becomes the APC's flagbearer in 2027 general election for federal house of representative. Hon.Chinedu is poised to leverage his experience, expertise, and expansive network to drive progress and prosperity in our constituency. His leadership will undoubtedly inspire a new wave of confidence and optimism, and I have no doubt that he will emerge victorious in 2027. It is therefore with immense pride that I commend Hon. Emeka Chinedu for his courage and conviction, and wish him the very best in his endeavour. May his bid for a third term be a resounding success, and may the people of Ahiazu Ezinihitte Federal Constituency continue to reap the benefits of his tireless service.

His leadership has strengthened the link between the people and the legislative process, improving accessibility and delivering measurable outcomes. This has contributed to growing confidence in his capacity to consolidate existing gains and further advance the constituency’s position within the national framework. |
Support for Rt. Hon. Emeka Martins Chinedu remains anchored on performance, capacity, and the shared objective of advancing Mbaise beyond personal or sectional considerations. |
The decision has, however, generated unease among opposing interests. Efforts built around media pressure, misinformation, and the promotion of untested alternatives have not achieved the intended outcome. This reflects a broader reality that performance and proven capacity remain more compelling than speculation. |
TENSION AS RT. HON. EMEKA MARTINS CHINEDU ACCEPTS CALLS FOR CONTINUITY. |
TENSION AS RT. HON. EMEKA MARTINS CHINEDU ACCEPTS CALLS FOR CONTINUITY. Rt. Hon. Emeka Martins Chinedu has formally accepted the widespread calls from leaders urging him to seek another term in office. This decision reflects a collective demand for continuity, driven by observable progress in representation and a shift toward more responsive and people-centered governance. His leadership has strengthened the link between the people and the legislative process, improving accessibility and delivering measurable outcomes. This has contributed to growing confidence in his capacity to consolidate existing gains and further advance the constituency’s position within the national framework. In legislative practice, continuity enhances effectiveness. Experience, ranking, and institutional knowledge are critical to attracting projects, influencing policy, and sustaining development. Interrupting this trajectory risks reversing progress and weakening the constituency’s voice at the federal level. The call for continuity is therefore grounded in a clear understanding of how governance systems deliver results. The decision has, however, generated unease among opposing interests. Efforts built around media pressure, misinformation, and the promotion of untested alternatives have not achieved the intended outcome. This reflects a broader reality that performance and proven capacity remain more compelling than speculation. Across Ahiazu and Ezinihitte, patriotic stakeholders continue to emphasize the need for a deliberate and consistent approach to development. A constituency seeking improved outcomes must align with leadership that demonstrates competence, experience, and a track record of service. This moment also reinforces the need for resilience. Meaningful progress often attracts criticism, particularly from those invested in preserving the status quo. Such reactions should be understood within the context of change and the realignment of priorities toward collective interest. At this critical point, we respectfully urge Rt. Hon. Emeka Martins Chinedu to remain steadfast and focused. The path of reform and progress is rarely without resistance. The criticisms and pressures that accompany this moment are not a measure of failure, but a reflection of the impact of his leadership. We encourage him to endure these challenges with patience and conviction, recognizing that the broader interest of the people must remain the guiding principle. Support for Rt. Hon. Emeka Martins Chinedu remains anchored on performance, capacity, and the shared objective of advancing Mbaise beyond personal or sectional considerations. Ahiazu must be great. Ezinihitte must be great. Mbaise must be great. Sustained development requires deliberate leadership, continuity, and collective commitment. The responsibility to maintain progress rests on informed choices and a clear focus on long-term outcomes. Concerned Mbaise Sons and Daughters

Emeka Martins Chinedu has commenced engagements across Ahiazu Mbaise/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency, meeting with APC leadership, executives, and grassroots stakeholders in consultations aimed at strengthening internal cohesion and political alignment ahead of the 2027 general elections. The tour began on Tuesday, 7th April 2026, at Oboama in Ezinihitte LGA, where he met APC leadership at the residence of the LGA Chairman, Comrade Charles Ndukwu, followed by an interface with the LGA executive and stakeholders. Party leaders referenced long-standing interactions and earlier appeals for his formal alignment with the party, noting that his integration had been widely anticipated and was warmly received. They also expressed confidence that he would bring his record of constituency development, legislative impact, and grassroots engagement into the party structure. Addressing the gathering, Rt. Hon. Emeka Martins Chinedu said his declaration for the APC in his ward and the ongoing consultations were informed by emerging political realities ahead of 2027, where alignment with the ruling party has become increasingly important, emphasizing unity, continuity, and experience-driven representation. He further observed that governance under the Governor of Imo State has maintained strong momentum even in its second term, reflecting sustained administrative performance beyond the usual expectations of a second-term cycle. He also emphasized that legislative experience and ranking remain key to effective representation, while urging stakeholders to engage constructively on issues such as zoning and rotation as part of efforts to maintain balance and political stability in the constituency. The Ezinihitte engagement concluded with a prayer session led by party stakeholders, reaffirming unity and internal cohesion. PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 12 March 2026 RT. HON. EMEKA MARTINS CHINEDU RESIGNS FROM THE PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC PARTY (PDP) The Member representing Ahiazu Mbaise/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Emeka Martins Chinedu, has formally resigned his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). In a letter dated 12 March 2026 and addressed to the Ward Chairman of the party in Oboama/Umunama Ward 12, Ezinihitte Local Government Area of Imo State, the federal lawmaker announced that his resignation takes immediate effect. Rt. Hon. Chinedu expressed gratitude to the party for the opportunity it provided him to serve the people of his constituency. “I remain grateful to the party for the platform that enabled me to earn the confidence of the good people of Ahiazu Mbaise/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency and serve them as a lawmaker,” he stated in the letter. However, he noted that recent developments within the party have created uncertainty regarding its immediate direction and internal cohesion. “Recent developments within the party have created a climate of uncertainty regarding its immediate direction. I had hoped that dialogue and internal reconciliation would restore the stability and cohesion necessary for its continued progress.” According to him, despite exercising patience in anticipation of reconciliation among the various interests within the party, those expectations have not been realised. “As you are aware, the party is presently characterised by several litigations among factions over issues of supremacy,” he added. Following wide consultations with his family, leaders of his ward, and his numerous supporters, Rt. Hon. Chinedu said he had taken the considered decision to formally withdraw his membership of the party. “After careful reflection and consultation with my family, leaders of my ward, and my numerous supporters, I have therefore taken the considered decision to resign from the Peoples Democratic Party.” He emphasised that the decision was taken with respect for the institution of the party and the relationships built during his years within it. Rt. Hon. Chinedu reaffirmed his steadfast commitment to the welfare, progress, and political advancement of the people of Ahiazu Mbaise/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency.
