Which majority? I am not just an Edo man, I am an Esan man and Monday Okpebholo of APC was my senator. I am resident here in benin. On the day the governor was announced winner, the state was like a graveyard. It was as if people were morning. You think INEC did the right thing because your party was declared winner? If democracy dies in Nigeria you think it will not affect you?

A lot of people don't understand why people are shouting about Edo election. In the past, political parties used to rig Election that was why the idea of BVAS and IREV came up as a way of checkmating their rigging machines.
However in Edo election, it was INEC the electoral umpires that changed the results. People went out to vote as usual. At the end of the election, results were announced at the polling units and uploaded on the IREV.
On the eve of the election, over 90% of results were already uploaded on the IREV which shows that PDP was winning.
Out of no where, INEC suspended collation of result. They later resufaced to announce another result different from what electoral officers posted on IREV.
They even went ahead to print another set of result sheets with same serial numbers to justify their manipulation but unfortunately, they could not get polling unit agents to sign them. That's where they goofed.
The concern now is, if INEC who is supposed to be the umpire is now the ones doing the rigging, then Nigeria democracy is dead.
Nigerians should just forget about going to the polls to elect anybody especially in 2027.
In other words, Nigerias democracy is under siege.

Instead of states and regions creating all this unnecessary security networks that is not even constitutional why not amend the constitution to grant states right to have their own police. We can have federal and state police, just like it's done in the US who we're copying almost everything from.

Having a state security outfit is the fastest way in achieving a state police.
The Edo state security Corps have been very effective. I dare to say that they are more effective than the police as indegens have more confidence in them than they have in the police but APC being what they are, called them Obaseki armed gang and the IGP suspended their operation before the election.

By the time Monday Okpebholo realises that Oshiomhole and Shaibu doesn't wish I'm well, I just hope it will not be too late.
He is starting his administration on a vindictive note as if he has a personal scores to settle with Obaseki.
He should remember that Oshiomhole had vowed that a minority where he comes from can never be governor of Edo state while Shaibu fell out with Obaseki because he wanted to be governor and Obaseki said no, let the governorship go to Esan people.
Okpebholo should sit down and get experts to guide him on the gains of Obaseki while focusing on addressing the areas Obaseki didn't do well.
If he thinks he can succeed the way he is going by dismantling all the good things Obaseki has built in the last 8 years, he will end up not achieving anything.
Oshiomhole doesnt want anybody to beat his achievements in Edo state and that's why he was fighting Obaseki.
Monday Okpebholos advisers should advise him properly

Instead of Okpebholo to settle down and study how Edo governance works, he is busy on a vendetta to please Oshiomhole his master.
Instead for him to settle down, study what Obaseki has done and see how he can improve on them he is busy dissolving everything most of which he knows little or nothing about.
The other day, he flagged of the construction of a flyover meanwhile, Benin Auchi road, Benin Agbor road and Benin Sapele road is still in a state of comatose. These were the same roads Obaseki was crucified for.
How can you be talking of flyover when there are no roads in and out of Benin.

Though I am not holding brief for Obaseki but what I know is that, Obaseki ran one of the most transparent government ever in Edo state. He had everything documented including all government assets.
By the time they invite Obaseki, they will be shocked with the quantum of evidences he will produce.
Instead of Okpebholo who never won Election in Edo state to focus on trying to win the hearts of Edo people, he is busy fighting the fight of Oshiomhole.

As painful as it may sound, this is the gospel truth

Okpebholo, everything is not fight fight fight.
Don't allow Oshiomhole lead you astray.
Instead of building a new royal museum, why not hand over the new Museum for west african arts built by Obaseki to the palace?
