Has anyone experienced this? I requested for unilag to upload my transcript on my aitsl portal and they uploaded a passworded transcript. please how exactly will aitsl (assessment body for teachers) get the password because aitsl has said that we shouldn't send mails to them but communicate to them via the portal, and the password wasn't given to me. |
RealBae:Ok, thank you |
Hello house, please how do i pay for my assessment since i cant pay with naira debit card? |
kunleos: |
GoalZero1:2 months, one month if you're going to be serious and practice a module 4 hours everyday. I used 2 months though. Truth is i became really serious 2 weeks to the exam |
Thank the lord. I just got my eor result today, i applied since 2nd January. That is, two months and 6 days after i applied, mehn i was almost loosing hope. Anyway my final result is, LRWS ( 8.5, 7.5, 7.5, 8 ) overall 8, and it's my first time writing the exam too. My eor was for my speaking, i needed an 8, i got 7.5 previously, so that changed, thank God. My advice for the exam, practice, practice, practice. Download official past ielts textbooks from ieltsgame.com, use that to practice your reading and listening. Use ieltsliz.com to practice writing. Read all the high band essays she has on her site and try to recreate yours. Also try and download official answer sheet for writing too, its gives you an idea how 150+ and 250+ words look like (you may not have time to count during exams, trust me). Watch youtube videos at night if you have the youtube night plan, use youtube to understand difficult questions that are giving you problems. I watched all ieltsliz videos on youtube. If you work. Come back home, do all you have to do, sleep early, and wake up in the early hours of the morning to practice. For speaking, record yourself speaking multiple times, try to pace your speaking, dont speak too fast and always give reasons for your answers. Finally. Pls make a timetable for yourself and try to follow it, every day focus on one module. I believe 2 weeks of serious study, can get you your desired score. Also another thing i did, i abandoned social media for one week before my exams because i knew it was my biggest distraction. I also sent my kids to my parents the week before my exams. Just take the exam serious and you won't have to do it twice |

You can give it a try but just know it may take a while, like 2 or more months before the result comes out |
I'd advice anyone against remarking. Remarking i applied for since 2nd January hasn't come out till now. Moreover you cannot remark reading and listening, its highly unlikely they made a mistake with that and if by a rare chance they did, it may just be one question or 2 which wouldn't make any difference to your score. I advise you to write again. My 2 cents... practice seriously and write again jasperonyx: |
Wow, what can one do now, someone is advising i write another one, but what if the eor comes out positive Stan2330: |
I'm in this same predicament, eor that i applied for since 2nd january, 38days later today, no show. I'm just tired.. why are they doing this? I thought this was an international body...I've been calling and mailing them... the same super story |
freedomtours:Thankyou |
Please a friend of has asked me to help him authenticate his police clearance certificte. He needs it for the italian embassy and can't really come to Abuja himself. Can anyone put me through the process, so that when i go there that day i can get everything done with easily and also how much it costs so i can tell him |
felixzo1:Thankyou |
felixzo1:Yes i know, thank you. One last question, should i assess as a primary school teacher, since that's the experience i have or secondary school teacher because i studied chemistry education |
Will aitsl accept a b.ed chemistry education degree from uniabuja as a bachelors degree. Its was a 4 year programme |
adeoladele:Omg, thank you so much for this, so since i have b.ed in chemistry education and teaching practice, does that mean i can assess as a secondary school teacher? Even though my experience is in the primary school? Pls if its possible, can i have your email so we can discuss further? I don't mean to bother but i had already given up till i came back to this post and saw this |
Hello everyone. Please i would like to know if i would get a positive assessment. I am 32, will be 33 in october, i studied chemistry education for both b.ed and m.ed from uni of abuja and uni of lagos respectively. My only work experience is as a primary school teacher. And i checked, primary school teaching is not on the list of skills except nominated by a state. Now the next best option for me is early childhood teacher, but the documents needed for the skills assessment emphasises that my education should emphasize the age of children i was trained for. Both of my degrees do not indicate which age of children i was trained for. How do i solve this issue please. My other concern is that my degrees seems as if i was trained for seconday school teaching. But i don't have experience in this atall |
