Hello house.Just came across this thread today and I’m really impressed with what have gained so far.I got an admission from a school in uk but was told to write to an ielts exam.please can someone tell me how to go about it.Am I going to write general or academic

Your purpose for wanting to write the exam determines the type you're to do.

If you're traveling for migration or employment purposes, do General. If you're going for admission purposes, do academic.

I only prepared for the writing with writing9dotcom. I didn't have to prepare much becuase I had previous experience with an expired test.

Go to the exam venue with your valid passport you used for registration and if you will be writing Paper based test, you will need pencil, eraser and a black pen for your writing test.

I want to apply for EOR but the option is not available on my test taker dashboard. I have sent countless mails already.

At least you are sure of yours. I got a mail from BC on Valentine's Day announcing that tests earlier scheduled for the 23rd and 25th have been cancelled for fear of the General Elections.
Now I booked for.the.24th but the information was silent about that.

Hi everyone, I just found this link and I have a few questios, I would appreciate if someone can help by answering them, thanks in advance.
1. I am registering for IELTS exam after the election in February, I have gotten my national identify card and I have taken lessons for the exam and feel quite confident. I am however unsure of the IELTS exam to take because I was to apply to a university, hence I prepared for the academic exam. Right now my Aunt is trying to use the skilled worker visa approach ( relocating as a carer), because it gives the opportunity of schooling and working as that visa permits it. Do I still write the academic IELTS exam because of the prospect of schooling or take the general IELTS exam?
