The truth about it is that the total population of people who claim to be Ijaw in Rivers State is not more than 700k old and young. Fubara LGA opobo nkoro is not more than 30k old and young. Ijaws should behave themselves or they will kiss the governorship of Rivers State bye bye forever. The situation in Rivers State is a cartel one. It has nothing to do with ethnicity. Fubara joined a clique and the clique has a rule. Fubara benefitted from this rules when he was not the governor. When Fubara became the governor he suddenly wanted to pull away from the clique and the rules. This is what is playing out.

Yorubas are cunning people... I cannot point to one major infrastructural development a Yoruba president has started and completed for the southern Nigeria, yet they are hell bent on distabilizing the zone for their selfish interests.

All the headquarters of multinational oil companies are in Lagos but it is the Niger Delta region that holds their lifeline.

Yoruba government has approved, constructed and completed more than 3 Seaport in their region, yet they can't put the same effort to actualize those of the Niger Delta region.

They frustrate the effort of our state government, distabilizing the region and making sure no major development is achieved.

I am an Akwa Ibom person. Ibom Deep Seaport has been on paper over 10 years now, and the Yorubas are doing everything humanly possible to see to its non-existent because of the fear of becoming a threat to theirs.

You have probably forgotten that Obaseki did not support Tinubu in 2023 and APC did not win presidential election in Edo. But as for Rivers State, it is on record that both wike and Fubara worked for Tinubu in 2023. He is still going to need them again in 2027.
