LiveData:1. I don't know maybe you mean how long it takes to reach harvest. Well I was told by the man that gave me the seeds, that it takes 6 months. I don't think this is true. It's my first time planting rice. 2. Yes I intend doing it on a commercial scale. I'm currently in search of a land within Ojo Lagos. If you Know or have please let me know. 3. I planted the last set of rice on 28 of August, today is 27 November. They're all bringing out panicles, i might harvest Next month December, though the growth were stunted in the nursery. The total money I have spent is just 4,000 (for clearing and transplanting). The seeds is free. 4. There are two major animals that disturbes which are goats and birds! (Majorly birds) I will be sharing my secrets on how I have been overcoming Thoes wicked birds. Thanks. |
Now, in this Episode I will be posting the link of the video so you will watch it live ![]() If you take a look at the video you will see standing waters, the rice are growing inside the standing waters. The next thing I will be showing you is, the transplanting of the rice seedlings. Meanwhile something dropped into my spirit now, which is I'll be going to the farm today, to make a video showing you how the rice are bringing out panicles (seeds). So back to what I was saying. I hired A man that helped me clear the grasses, and transplanted the rice seedlings. He transplanted the rice seedlings in clusters, like I'll be showing you shortly. The date I transplanted the rice is October_ 08_2024. There's a video and a picture for this illustration, let me upload picture first.
|
Yes! Successfully uploaded the picture. I'm gradually learning how to use this platform. Let me tell you about the nursery. The growth of that seedlings in the pictures are stunted. Yes... And I promise to show you the mistake I made, that made this seedlings to be stunted, This seedlings are 1month and 2weeks, they're meant to have grown taller than that. If you take a closer look at them they are not looking greenish. If though there ways constant watering. I will be revealing the cause towards the end of my story. If you remind me ![]() |
Please I'm still learning about how to post on this platform, if I make any mistake please forgive my ignorance. So like I promised to upload my rice seedlings still in the nursery. I took a picture of this nursery on September_21_2024. I will show you an update of how it looked after the transplant in my next upload. Meanwhile, see the nursery.
