We are sourcing for a Trade Promotion Officer for immediate employment. Summary Objective: The prospective employee is expected to continually grow the Client base of the Lagos International Trade Fair and other specialized exhibitions by canvassing for the local and international exhibitors, partners and attract visitors to the fairs. maintain an active prospective databank always. Reports To: Unit Head/Director Responsibilities • Manage the publicity of the LITF and other exhibitions through the social media and such platform as SMS and e-mail in other to get the maximum mileage possible. • Manage the department’s website on the LITF and all other exhibitions. • Develop strategies on how to market and sell the annual LITF and other exhibitions organized by the Department. • Attract exhibitors in Nigeria and Overseas to participate in these exhibitions. • Attend to exhibitors’ complaints and inquiries promptly while ensuring customer satisfaction. • Continually source for and enlist new exhibitors for the LITF and other exhibitions. • Suggest and recommend Sales requirements / expectations for all exhibitions in the Department. • Manage workplan / operations budget as assigned for all events. • Manage the hosting of ICTEL EXPO. • Source for Sponsorship and Partnership for the department’s events • Manage the ICTEL committee and other specialized exhibitions as organized by the department. • Secretary of the ICTEL Committee, prepare MOUs, Agreements, Contract letters, Reports, Proposals and respond to incoming correspondence relevant to the assignments described herein. • Conduct research and studies that will assist the team in the performance of its assignments. • Perform any other official duty as assigned by the Director. Job Requirements Expertise in Digital marketing & Branding. The Job Holder must have skills in digital solutions for the promotion of events, digital marketing, branding, graphic designs, social media skills, content creation Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in social science/management disciplines (Business Administration, Marketing, Sociology, etc). : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Persuasive, proficient in the use of Microsoft offices and possess event management skills. Experience: 2-3 years cognate experience in Membership/Customer relations management, event management, marketing and sales management. Skills and attributes, and digital Marketing Skills, MS Word, Excel, and PPT, proactive and event management skills.
