MY COUNTRY

What a beautiful country;
but why do so many go to bed at night hungry?
There is an answer and it is corruption;
they take everything from the people in a way of extortion.
We need to get rid of our headers;
work something out and get in there some better leaders.
People get together and speak your mind;
read, get some more knowledge and don't be blind.
Nigeria does have a lot of money;
many resources, cocoa, gold, oil, and even honey.
We can be on top of the world;
people are scared and don't want to speak their words.
I am proud of this nation;
let's get things right and prepare for our next generation.
Nigeria, among one of the best in Africa;
answer this, why do so many want to migrate to America.
Becasue things are not what they seem to be but all lies;
trust me, everybody is just trying to get by.
It's still my country, my joy, and my pride;
lovely atmosphere, caring people, pretty females, and where i will find my bride.

It is still my country Nigeria.

[color=#990000] You can't beat my own. When I was around 4,5,6,. I used to hawk chilled bottled drinks in a popular market in P.h. called Ikoku. My granny had a big shop there, and so I would go about screaming " buy cold minerals". and when I'm true selling the content of my 4-litre custard bucket container, I'll go back to base and get a a plate of custard and two fried eggs, then back to hustling. Mind you I was doing it for fun.

One time a man ran into me( I think I actually ran into the man(so it's my fault) but till tomorrow I would not admit that), and my custard bucket fell off my head and crash went its content- I cried and held the man till he paid, although with help from on-lookers. Poor man, paying for a crime he did not commit. What was I supposed to do, I was too young to consider morality and rectitude, I just had to protect my hot dish of reward.

eminem has always been my man. if a black guy is rapping you see violence and gratutious evil in his eyes, but if a witty white guy is rapping its just hip hoply soothing.
