everal people have been reportedly killed including a security operative following a violent conflict between the Fulani and Hausa people residing in Gwadabawa community of Sokoto state.

The casualties of the ugly incident which occurred on Friday, April 7, 2023, were said to have been recorded on both sides.

A local official in the community, Aminu Gwadabawa told VOA Hausa in an interview on Saturday that people in the area are currently living in fear.

Hausa isn't her language, she's (a Christian) from southern Kaduna State and has her own native language. Coming from the north does not automatically makes you a hausa or a Muslim.

Amaechi Finally Exposed, As Sahara Reporters Publisher, Gets Implicated In $350,000 Bribery Scandal

The Publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore, has been accused of collecting $350,000 from President Muhammadu Buhari’s Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, to blackmail the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike.
This was revealed in a report circulated by Lere Olayinka, Media Aide to the Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose.
The revelation came barely few days, when Governor Wike, was heard over an audio tape, publicized by Sahara Reporters, trying to bribe an Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Officer, to rig the Rivers State rerun Legislative poll, or be killed.
Though, Governor Wike has denied and distanced himself from the audio tape, describing it as concocted.
According to Olayinka, “Sources who confirmed the deal, said the $350,000 was sourced from NIMASA, and Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), with NIMASA releasing $220,000 as payment for international image laundering consultancy, while NDDC paid $130,000 for what they called; publicity retainership”.
The report further went on to say that: “In carrying out this brief, Omoyele Sowore who is a master in blackmail, and ‘Jankara Journalism’ deployed technologies called Natural Voices and Comparator feature, from AV Voice Changer Software Diamond cook up modulated audio fables, to hoodwink the unsuspecting public.”
“Interesting enough, Sahara Reporters has been silent on the actions of the military, police, and INEC, during Rivers rerun, despite video evidences already circulating on social media.”
Many Nigerians have begun to see Sowore’s Sahara Reporters, as the mouthpiece of the Buhari-led APC government. This damning allegation further foregrounds this belief.
