Hey!! I have to sound very Hot... I hate when people start saying some words that is annoying... Listen, I already av a deal of 160k...does it mean I shouldn't aspire for more money? Come to abj and see teachers earning 250k- 350k with lesson inclusive... I av received an invitation from Global international sch but I didnt attend because I wasn't sure of the pay.... Now I got an invitation from a school in calaba and my travelling expenses will be paid back to me...and some persons are saying rubbish... Pls I'm not a begging teacher of 35-50k..(In abuja,That is a child lesson money). I'm a professional teacher with B.sc(ed) with CIE certificate and experience.... So, please mind your statement... I might not comment again... Thanks... U know yourself

Glad to announce that I've officially signed a new transfer contract with Caleb Intl Schools.

It was quite challenging though, their aptitude test is superb! If not for the "gragra" I put up during the interview and micro-teaching, it would have been a different story alltogether.
If you don't have it, fake it! Confidence is very key when it comes to interviews.
Though the pay is just a few tens of thousand above what I currently earn, I like their welfare package and other perks.
So patiently awaiting the new session! Wish me well guys.

Well, its the Firstcareerrecurtiment, a friend called me to attend with my CV, then we were ask to Write a lesson plan...and citing of certificate.... After 2days, we were ask. To come for micro teaching.finally yesterday was the deal day...just thanking God all through.

I just want to thank God for an Unmerited Upliftment...I went for a 3 different stages of a new school Interview in Abuja... Finally, I sealed a deal of 160k.... Thank God

Hello... I really want to commend your suggestion,deals and effort towards gathering teachers together all over the nation... Its a good thing and I'm impress to see teachers standing out to appreciate teaching as a profession... I must say this.. We need to see as ourselves as a Professionals in our field just like a Doctors, Lawyers etc. I will also suggest we put into consideration the Media, Educational bodies etc to participate in this conference... I was actually recommended by an insider but on getting there I was told since I have no certificate in education (I have an HND) I can't be . considered. The position was T.A. Good people, please, what other form(s) of punishment can a teacher employ asides cane(flogging)? My pupils are extremely stubborn and from a very rowdy environment. The greedy proprietor is a parents-ass-licker who can do anything the parents wants for his school. They've decided the teachers shouldn't punish their children, and he is ok with that. IMAGINE!
Pls, help prescribe varieties of punishment to be used on them for an effective class management.

BE CREATIVE...... Delovelop an Incident form... Like Bullying form, Fighting, Insulting words etc develop a form where you capture the student details involved in any negative act.... Then, creat a light punishment Consequences... Like face the wall, deny student from playing football or any game(but allow he/she to watch only) etc... Please, TO all other Teacher's...Never YOU flog a child because of ANYTHING at all... Its totally a child abuse of the highest order which can affect the student whole life.... Don't even dare it.....it causes child depresion, fear, mental inactiveness,isolation etc.....finally, develope a slogan to control Indispline in school...... For example... NO FBI......... No Fighting, No Bullying, No Insultive words.. You can try it in your school... Let student be aware and always remind of it until they start saying to each other in school... It will help....

The Exam is in 3 modules/phases.... (1)DEVELOPING A NEW TEACHING APPROACH
(2)FACILITATING ACTIVE LEARNING
(3)REFLECTING ON PRACTICE..
Money - I think the amount should be around 70k-100k.... Because we paid about 200 dollas(35K) for collection of cert/statement of result.
Duration - 6month -9month depending how fast u are able to finish up....

Okay.... A school sponsored me...i.e I was seleted to join a working commitee when I was still there... So the best way to reward the commitee was to sponsor us for the CIE but we paid for the collection of statement of result and certificate because it was directly from cambridge university. UK... But the training is for a group of teachers in a school...I.e not for Individual... If you guys are ready... I can hook you guys to the Country represtative of cambridge university.
