guiddoti:I have seen people who spent 6yrs in PhD because of publication. Publishing your work is SCI journal or conference brings your PhD on the same platform with other university of the world. in Academics your publications determines your quality and also where such publication was accepted. |
Who told you PhD ios not challenging if Cyprus? How can undergrduate understand that you need an SCI conference paper to graduate A PhD holder in Cyprus? tbaby534: |
justiceniola:Read through previous Post, I believe you get valuable information especially from Mr Wip7 post. |
waynee2baba:Can you send me your details at ikenna.uwanuakwa@neu.edu.tr if you are yet to get response. |
Jayeby001:It is advisable, you get to have TL based card, also money can be transferred directly to ur acct from any part of the world including Nigeria. requires are; Student letter International Passport Residence permit House contract maybe 2 picture |
elijah101:He should look for Nethouse Internet, is a broadband internet service quite cheaper, can only be used outside school hostel. 1 Mb is about 65TL/per month https://www.nethouse.net/index.php?lang=en He can also go to Telsim shop for home internet. |
godsong:point of correction, in Near East if a student missed the mid-term on a valid reason such as mentioned above, you will have an opportunity for make-up which is after the final exam. Mid-term exam Final exam Make-up exam (valid reason form missing mid-term) Resit exam (Valid reason for missing final and FF as final grade) |
elijah101:You can book Emirate oneway though is about 25 to 31hrs with 2 transfers at Dubai and Istanbul. If she insist on 2-way then make you return ticket in summer next year you may want to travel home with it. But note that ticket is not transferable. |
Kj40:NEU is recognized within its own capacity. I can tell you that is the best or the worst. Her library is well equipped. The accommodation within campus is 1200EUR (deposit inclusive) for 10.5 months. It is safe, likewise other universities in North Cyprus. I advise people to either apply to NEU,EMU,CIU, in some courses GAU or lefke http://www.webometrics.info/en/search/Rankings/near%20east (World ranking) I speak as a Nigerian, a staff. |
I wonder why we would continue to deceive our people with all this 2 to 3 building universities. What do you guys gain in bring people to this Universities, I feel ashamed for all this things. Though this University are real, but their standards are below the money your are paying. Master program in Sustainable Engineering meaning? Guys lets be real to ourselves, I am a trained Architect and Civil Engineer will not see all this and keep quiet, I only advise people to attend EMU, NEU, CIU, GAU, Lefke and University of Kyrenia wip7: |
Dreamcome2ru:If you are on ground, you will understand. We do not express it to people at home or elsewhere I don't know why. let them be honest. |
Fellow Nigerians when I see desperation exhibited hereunder and frustration on ground that will meet uninformed applicant I cry. To be honest, about 90% of individuals were disappointed on arrival. If you have business in Nigeria, please do not close it because admission here is free easy. I will not deceive you all most Nigerian schools are far better than schools here, the only edge is affordable internet and access to journals. even EMU can compete with UNILAG, UNN,ABU, IBADAN, or IFE lab in Engineering. All they want is your money nothing else. |
elijah101:They are supposed to give you Telex copy that is a proof of transfer, you need to scan the telex copy to the school for unconditional acceptance letter. |
Due increasing abuse of foreign education sort by our people this forum will assist you in getting information on schooling in Near East University. feel free ask before arriving to avoid embarrassment. For many were deceived that there is work of which is a big lie. before you abandon your business for nothing ask. Admission is free don't be deceived!!! |

Its nice coming to this pages again, Thanks to persons like Mr Wip7 who have been devoting time to answer streams of questions. My advice to new applicants, TRNC is TRNC. Don't expect magic and don't have this idea that I am going abroad to hammer. Yes some made it in clean way, but the factual truth remains the same, ur aim should be to come here and study. be sure u have backup finance from home and don't forget to get at least 2 bank ATM with internet banking to help in case one bank mishap. after 1 semester you can switch school of ur choice, but be sure is the right direction cos the person who is helping you might be doing so to get some money from it. And most importantly don't forget where you are coming from especially to our girls, remember that there are different purposes men sleeps with girls? and no girl has remain the same after such experience. Life does not depend on all these. Hoping to see ur faces soon |
TRNC!!! It's a place to be and a place to talk about. I am writing this piece not because I want to discourage someone but because I want to get a message across to someone. On my arrival at Ecan (Ejan as pronounced) at about 11pm in Feb. I was greeted with a chilly cold wind with smoke oozing out from cigaret sticks that contribute to global warming. I was excited about starting my M.Sc in Europe. I thank one individual here (Wip7) his information was helpful except that he and others refused to explained to Nigerians that you are coming here to study not to search for Las Vegas skyscrapers. On my arrival the first question a Nigerian will put across to you is "what came into your mind when you left the airport"? students from EMU or schools located at outside Lefkosa will give better answer. Though I did my online research on facebook and here of course. But will not say I was deceived because I came to study. And to be honest i was not impressed with what I saw. If Nigerian Universities were better I see no point coming to the Island. Many young Nigerians have left the Island, some are about to, while some are living with bitterness of.....(not necessary). Please before you waste Nigerian money here, ask people to send you real pictures not choice locations. My consolation came when I realized that I will not be paying t-fare to move around the city. but.............................to be continued |
