Suspending the activities of the Man O' War on campus is quite irrelevant at this stage—a life has already been lost! The real question is: under whose authority is the Man O' War detaining students on campus? Who gave them that power? This is a very serious issue, and I hope the parents of the deceased student sue the school management to the fullest extent of the law.

How are they naive? Nothing wrong in what they did. You are responsible to who you represent and the man may not even be Igbo as it is not only Igbos that bear Okoro. Even Yoruba bear it as well as some other groups. The op maybe wrong as the name Okoro isn't enough reason to say the man is an Igbo man.
What the Yoruba need to fight for is representation that shows their true percentage of total population or a representation by tax paid. You can choose whoever you trust to represent you at any level. In Ibadan, the traditional constitution allows anybody to become the King

Mr Lawani,know this for a fact— Igbo people won't be allowed to represent us in any part of Yorubaland. Trust me,we are very intentional about it going forward— it won't just happen again. Whichever political party fields an Igbo has its flag bearer in any part of Yorubaland will lose.

The underbelly of your idea of "representation" is trust. This is your statement: "You can choose whoever you trust to represent you at any level." Now,the truth is that,we (Yoruba) don't trust the igbo— same way they don't trust us. Therefore,Igbo can't be elected to represent any part of yorubaland— dead on arrival!
