You need to use study materials, then find the area you are weak in. Study centers don't do magic if you can't study by yourself.

However, if you are so bent on it, you could use road to IELTS and pay about $50 or so for materials and get access to videos that could help considering your schedule.
thanks

If you are in Lagos, there are. However, that is for the skills to ace it as your English proficiency or lack of, is in there with you waiting for improvements. Online remains the best way to beat it but if you insist more on going to classes, where will the time come out from? Google centers in Lagos though! If you no see,let me know.
thanks once again , am in Abuja ,i have seen one located in the same building as the MOD building in Abuja but based on your advice ,I will just stick with the online materials. Will practice at midnight.

You won't be writing anyhow.. No there for their, I will like for I would like, prove for proof, dot your Is and cross your Ts, correct spellings and punctuations etc. It is not a Nigerian situation. Get at the strategy to excel on each module. All the best!
thanks for your observation. pls if anyone knows a reputable study center for ielts please share , my job is very demanding, I don't get off work until 10pm most days of the week and I work Saturdays too, so I don't have all the time to study online ,but I can squeeze out an hour or two to attended classes to get the best result. I won't be paying for my self alone , wifey is taking the test too, and that's 150k , if we don't meet the required band score ,that would mean that I will have to cough out another 150k.If attending classes would better my chances of securing the required band score , then I don't mind the cost as that would save me time. pls house , do share Ur opinion on this

Lool download a pdf, print then scan? That’s funny.
Anyway you only need the soft copy both pre and post ITA and you can just pay 7 dollars to have it posted by standard mail to Nigeria, got mine a few days ago even though I didn’t need it anymore.
Pay with your debit MasterCard (make sure to use the same address your bank account was opened with)
@ luce , thanks

Good morning good people. please i need your advice as regards paying for WES verification for me and wifey. According to page 0 and i quote (Dispatching the hard copy ECA)

[b]Upon registration, you would be asked to state if you want it couriered to Nigeria or a Canadian address (cheaper option). If you have a reliable contact in Canada, you can use his or her address as you do not need the hard copy urgently. However, if you do not have one, I would recommend that you choose courier rather than post office as you cant track it when you use the post office.

Can i as well use that of the USA address as a cheaper option than to send it to Nigeria which would cost me an additional 85 dollars each, and make use of the soft copy in filling EE profile and possible use it for post ITA as well i.e( downloading the soft copy, print it and scan )it for without resulting to the hard copy that would be mailed to the US.I ask this because it would cost me additional 46,000naira or more to have WES mail my report and that of my wife through a courier service.
And house please does anyone knows if Anambra State University responds to email sent to them for confirmation from WES on time. so i can know if i should use IQAS TO verify wifey's result.
Thirdly which is a more reliable means of payment to WES, credit card, western union etc ?
@newmum0615, thanks for your response on my earlier post. i appreciate.

@gbemiigbal: Please i am still awaiting your response as regards your contact in Ekiti state university.i understand that it might be a little difficult to share such information especially if the contact is not in support of it. i actually got in contact with someone who said it would cost me 45,000 naira to process the transcript and send to WES through a reputable courier service while it would cost me 35,000 naira to process and send through nipost (regular). pls i just want to know if he is giving me the right information or just want to take advantage of me. plus, was the school able to respond to WES on time in confirming that the transcript was sent by them.
patiently awaiting your response as it is crucial in my decision making

Bros/Ma, with this JD you posted o, your NOC is 6221. You deal with equipment and you are more than just a salesperson to retail customers. Am I right? Do you sell to establishments and businesses? Read through page zero of this thread to understand all you need for this process. Depending on your profile, you may not even be discussing provincial nomination.
thanks so much for your prompt response , i am already reading through the thread sir i have not seen anything that addresses this issue yet. you said depending on my profile i might not even be talking about provincial nomination , and yes i do sell to establishment like NNPC , ETC, though i think i understand what you are talking about, which is when filling my application profile, but can you please expatiate on it sir.

good evening everyone. i am kind of new here and i have been busy reading some of your previous posts from part one till now,i have also been reading through the links provided in part four.I must confess you all are doing a great thing here. if only our country can be as organized, sincere ,helpful to one another like the you all are on this forum, i am sure we wont be needing to go through all this process to travel abroad for work.
I am about to take the ielts test in the coming weeks , but i am having a little difficulty in determining which category i fall on. my educational background is bsc. Accounting cgpa 3.47 , job experience with tittle sales executive IT/electronics for 6years plus.and my present job duties are as follow;
• Created and developed new business relationships and ensured maintenance of existing ones.
• Maintained all sales and inventory records accurately which resulted in highly consistent department inventory control.
• Arranged for after/post sale support to customers.
• Exhibited the ability to handle a wide variety of customer complaints and delicate situations without resorting to involve upper management.
• Worked closely with department managers assisting them with daily task
• Involved in the purchasing and supply of IT/Electronics product.
• Regular research on new products available in the market and make order.
• Negotiated terms of agreement and closed sales.
• Prepared reports regarding sales volume, products, customer reviews and other matters.
• Assembled and installed IT and electronics products, such as laptops desktops printers etc
• Created first hand solutions to IT related problems that might arise from equipment not working properly.
• Demonstrated effective time management and multi-tasking skills to complete daily projects while attending to customers.
• Involved in training of new staff
most of this job description involves retail sales in a mall while sometimes i am required to do some field marketing.
The PROBLEM here is that i don't know which skill level i am qualified for. If i fall under NOC 6421( retail sales person) which is skill level type C. which also will require a provincial nomination for me to get an ITA if am correct, or if i fall under NOC 6221 -( Technical sales specialists )- wholesale trade. which is skill level type B which does not require a provincial nomination.
i have read through both job requirements/duties and i think i fit into both categories. pls house , your advice will be appreciated in guiding me towards the right step to take on this matter. and how difficult is it to get provincial nomination peradventure i fall under noc 6421 type C.

Hello all,

Nice to be here to talk about experiences of living in Oz. Tyosho has done some real justice to much of the areas. I will just chip in some bits from a NSW (Sydney)perspective .

Housing: Rent in Sydney is quite expensive, though depending on where you stay, you might get some cheaper deals. In a month , it could be as high as half of your monthly wages excluding other small bills. The only good news is that the further you are from the city, the cheaper it is for you. Talking about my experience, I decided to come in first on my own before bringing in family and I think it worked fine for me. I got a shared apartment close to the city and paid about 250 per week for a small room. It was just me so I didnt mind. Used the opportunity to research the different areas. I finally settled for one in the MacArthur region , about 54km from the city...about 1hr train ride from the city. I didnt mind the commute , as I use the time to do other things. In this area , houses , apartment are cheaper and you have more open spaces and parks for children to play. Applying for a house through an agent is another story altogether which I know would be dealt with in this thread.

Transportation : Everyone in OZ would always tell you to get a car as a necessity. Everywhere is far from each other. You can manage with bus waiting times and walking to train stations for a while but as time goes on, you would definitely need to get one. Depending on what you want , car prices are not bad . I know someone that got a Camry pencil light for just $600 with little or no issue. Just some paintwork needed but that's based on preference. If working in the city, the train is your best bet, however if working in the suburbs...a car is needed. In NSW, you can use your naija licence for only 3 months, after that , you become a learner. Dont know about Victoria , but NSW test is usually difficult , its a rule that they don't pass you the first time and one little wrong move , its failure. I got it at my third attempt grin .

Other experiences still to come depending on what people want to know.

@ Bellong, I have always wanted to say thank you to you for your help during my application journey, sometimes in 2015. Greatly appreciated.
