Good evening fellow Countrymen, brothers and Sisters. Please, i need help deciding which NOC fits best for my job description. Although , employment letter reads News Editor 2 and promotion letter is News Editor job description basically remained the same after promotion from Editor 2 to Editor. should i choose NOC 5123---Journalists or , should i choose NOC 5122--- Editors Job Description ; • Daily responsibilities include receiving assignments for stories, evaluating leads and pitching compelling story ideas to editors, revising and editing work for editorial approval, and collaborating with other reporters, editors, and production staff • Gather information for newsworthy stories through observation, interviews, investigation, and research • Build a network of sources for interviews and develop relationships within the community • Travel to various locations to find current, relevant details about newsworthy events in real-time and after the fact • Attend and report on events such as environmental, political, or social functions • Be on scene for breaking news including human interest stories and natural disasters • Analyze facts and information and determine the most effective way to tell the story • Write and report stories and updates for use online and in radio • Manage and produce news to present information with accuracy, flow, and within time frame. • Assist in Preparing work schedule and deadlines and encourage team members to meet targets to facilitate timely publication. • Coordinate with colleagues in the newsroom and other departments to define priorities for same. • Evaluate all new for authenticity and check with sources to ensure correctness of published article to avoid conflicts. personal view; JD matches 5123 Journalist, even though my employment/job tittle is news editor (pls, i need opinions on this) lastly, when getting reference letter , how do i combine the two different tittles ( employment letter/tittle (News Editor2) and promotion letter/tittle (News Editor) which both basically have the same Job Descriptions. Thank you all for your help. |

Good evening beautiful people, been away for a while only to meet over 400 pages , wow. congrats to all the ITA, PPR clinchers . one question to the FAM. Hubby spent 4 days in Italy, in 2014 on a tourist visa. do we need to get a PCC for it? read somewhere that, PCC is only required if one spends 6months and above in a particular country. |

Good morning house , please i made a mistake while applying for wes verification , my certificate only carries my surname and first name, and i filed my complete name when asked to input name as it appears on certificate which includes my middle name. tried editing it on my profile but no provision for such. will this affect my verification? school is yet to send my transcript to wes. |

Joyce2020:chai na waooo, thanks though ,I read a couple of pages back, say around may this month with posted picture of a positive evaluation of f2-f3 as a one year diploma from wes, however someone as well who claims he got his evaluated as one semester. pls if there is anyone in the house who has a definite answer as regards this pls help share. was planning of writing the exams by December , get the one year diploma evaluation and apply as the primary applicant as crs would be around 445 with two or more certificate ,which I believe would be good enough to get ITA as opposed to waiting and hoping for ITA to drop below 426 or waiting for wifey to complete MSC or PGD by Jan 2020. was at noun office at Wuse 2days ago, met an admin staff who told me that both MSC and PGD would take 18months and it could be longer than DAT before results are been approved so projection is Jan 2020 if she starts MSC or PGD by September , and that sounds like forever to me. just looking for the shortest possible way to get additional certificate. writing f4-f9 won't be easy for me because of work. I have a family to feed o lol 2 Likes |
