Hi. I see you're yet to get a reply on this. So I just checked NOC 5122/5123 and indeed, your JD seems to fit more in 5123 (Journalists). Here, job titles don't mean much. The most important is to ensure that your job duties outlined in your reference letter correlate at a substantial degree with your preferred NOC.

Your JD shows investigative reporting, research, interpreting and communicating news via online/radio, media etc which I can see are all found in the lead statement and main duties of NOC 5123. Most of your duties are listed in that NOC so you're absolutely fine.

Since they both have the same JDs, you can write the job title as "News Editor" and list all the duties without repetition.

one question to the FAM. Hubby spent 4 days in Italy, in 2014 on a tourist visa. do we need to get a PCC for it?
read somewhere that, PCC is only required if one spends 6months and above in a particular country.

Hello my people,

congrats to everyone who has conquered any hurdle in this journey. I can say it has been God.
For those that will remember me, I was very active here 2017, got ECA completed for hubby and I since Jan 2018.

IELTS has been proving hard for me since 2017. on the 5th attempt!! result was out yesterday ! I am still struggling with listening 7.5!!!

Am not discouraged anyway. I so much appreciate the encouragement from wonderful people here @ osemigho, balogunsam, Glitteringstar ....... And many others.

But to the glory of God Almighty who is ready to make the dream a reality. I got admission this year with scholarship and I apply for study visa. Osemigho my wonderful e-brother did a lot for me. Read and reviewed all LOE and SOP selflessly. Because I had a refusal last year. We worked together on the application and I submitted application on the 16th April.

I got my study visa APPROVED on the 16th of July. Praise God with me, God is faithful. Resuming this fall by the grace of God.

I want to encourage ALL. stay focus, stay in faith till we all achieve our dream.

I really appreciate all for the support.

Your quest for maxing out your crs point is on point. Scores have not dropped below 440 since the start of the year. Nevertheless, a miracle of back to back draws can change the story

F2- F3 ACCA will not give you 1 year diploma equivalent. You can consider F5 to F9. Besides all that will only add 1 point to your CRS score as you are not the PA so think well.

chai na waooo, thanks though ,I read a couple of pages back, say around may this month with posted picture of a positive evaluation of f2-f3 as a one year diploma from wes, however someone as well who claims he got his evaluated as one semester.
pls if there is anyone in the house who has a definite answer as regards this pls help share.
was planning of writing the exams by December , get the one year diploma evaluation and apply as the primary applicant as crs would be around 445 with two or more certificate ,which I believe would be good enough to get ITA as opposed to waiting and hoping for ITA to drop below 426 or waiting for wifey to complete MSC or PGD by Jan 2020. was at noun office at Wuse 2days ago, met an admin staff who told me that both MSC and PGD would take 18months and it could be longer than DAT before results are been approved so projection is Jan 2020 if she starts MSC or PGD by September , and that sounds like forever to me. just looking for the shortest possible way to get additional certificate. writing f4-f9 won't be easy for me because of work. I have a family to feed o lol

i used E2 language to prepare and while writing my essay which was an interesting topic to me. I used these phrases, "This essay will discuss" and at the conclusion, "This essay has successfully discussed... Now these were Jay's mode...bikonu do u guys think that i was marked down because i used someone's words? Although i have applied for EOR but the wait is killing and i am considering taking another test before i loose my listening and reading skills. If jay's method is wrong, how can i get the final touchup in writing to get atleast a 7. Infact i am also considering using a physical tutor in Abuja here.

Guys its 3:40 am now. Hubby said he felt somehow and needed to check his email. I told him to sleep. Well, he checked and showed me a PPR mail. 39 days post AOR on the dot. We asked God for 45 days max for processing before we sent our application and he did it in less than that. I couldn't help myself i started laughing and crying at the same time. Surely, there is a God somewhere. Will tell my soon. Let me continue with my worship because i can't sleep again.

I prepared using Cambridge IELTS materials, 1 - 12, I did all the Listening and Reading tests, I didn't bother much with Speaking and Writing. I got R9, 8.5L, S7.5 W7. Don't prepare with just ANY online material, prepare with the correct materials. Nothing beats Preparation. But then, it all depend on your English skill, if you're regular English user in Nigeria with few grammatical errors, prepare by/with yourselves, else, you may need more than self prep.

What helped me:

Attempt a complete test in Cambridge IELTS 8 upward.i.e. try LWR and S and grade yourselves, this would help you identify where you need to work on more.
