provisional admission are required to adopt the following guidelines to regularize their acceptance of the offer:


1) Visit the University of
Nigeria website
(www.unn.edu.ng) or portal
(unnportal.edu.ng), log in your JAMB Registration
number to generate and download a unique Payment Invoice for acceptance fee.
Take the Invoice to any branch of Zenith bank, UBA,
Fidelity Bank, Access Bank and First Bank on the e-
tranzact platform to pay twenty five thousand naira
(N25, 000) acceptance fee.
Ensure that the Invoice
Number is keyed in
appropriately at the bank
and obtain a confirmation slip
containing a Confirmation
Number and your Invoice Number.


2) Visit the University of Nigeria website
(www.unn.edu.ng) or portal(unnportal.edu.ng) again and
login your JAMB Registration Number, the Confirmation
Number and Invoice Number, then print the Admission slip
and complete the Acceptance Form online.


3) Proceed with other fee payments and registration as
indicated on the University of
Nigeria website.

The West African Universities Games (WAUG) is scheduled to hold in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) in October, 2015.
The WAUGA games which will feature Football and Hockey competitions is expected to attract participants from over 60 universities across West Africa. Recall that UNN had earlier been awarded hosting rights for the games sometime in 2013 .
The Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria (UNN), Prof. Benjamin Ozumba, told newsmen in Nsukka that the Games would feature only football (men) and hockey (men and women). Tracing the history of the games, Ozumba said it started as in 1965 with the University of Ibadan as the host. He said that the Games had succeeded in breaking barriers in the sub-region, adding that the passion and emotion that sports elicit, serves as an effective advantage on the orientation of the youth. He said that the university was good to go in terms of the state of the facilities.
