semid4lyfe: FIFA Dismisses Nigeria Protest Over DR Congo Player Eligibility
By Francis Onyach
Kenya, December 18 2025 Hahahaha😂😂😂😂😂, you are really trying so hard . So you self believed this? |

Karlovich: African countries like Guinea, Togo and Madagascar don't allow dual nationality yet they're calling up European-born players like Guirassy and many more that have been cleared by FIFA without issues and they think DR Congo will be different
Ghanaians and South Africans are waiting to troll them once this is over.
They think FIFA is APC hahahaha This guy is just funny. Why are you being sooooo emotional ? That they did it, doesn't make it right. Or ABI you feel acting like this makes you unique ?😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀 |

JohnBullMySon: Chief I only disagreed with the validity of the NFF protest. That’s all. I didn’t say that NFF are fools na.
Problem is that some people just see dissenting comments and they’re offended.
I haven’t mentioned NFF or said anything about them. no wahala boss. I can understand your reasons. |

JohnBullMySon: I’m not a babe and nobody is pained. I’m a registered SE supporter and fan and I will always be. But I don’t do mass narrative.
Making comments here is not pushing for or against anything cause FIFA doesn’t use anybody’s comments to make decisions.
If you check all my comments here since 2020 or so 90% is positively inclined. So don’t come making snide comments cause I don’t agree with y’all on something. Argue the point and don’t talk nonsense or take offense. you can state your points without sounding malignant. I have read your statements here and it oozes pain. You can actually make constructive criticism you know than making nff look like they are fools pushing for what they feel will be good for them. Whoever wins so be it but making it look that Nigeria is going through world cup through the back door for something that favours them doesn't make any sense . Hope you understand ? |

Goke7: The pain is if it’s decided in our favour Nigeria will be blamed for Congo woes when it’s their own hands that has been used to drown themselves. 😂
They have been splashing the social media with photos of the players holding their passports as if that’s where the matter will be decided 😂 very funny thinking pattern😀😀😀😀😀😀 |

Karlovych: The NFF have zero case against DR Congo, appropriate documents were presented by their federation and their government gave them passports because their parents were born in Congo. FIFA reviewed all the approved their switch says charge and bail lawyer. You know more than nff? |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by chuks404: 9:13pm On Dec 16, 2025 |
JohnBullMySon: I do talk am before. FIFA has no legal basis to interpret DRC constitution for them. DRC government statement will just tell them that dual citizenship prohibition in effect currently is legal unrecognition of the other citizenship per 2007 law and thus their passports are valid. Case closed. This has likely already happened during the switch process.
Leave them to enjoy their World Cup delulu. Why are you pained that we are even pushing for this ? If it ends up not in our favour then we can rest. My simple question is why are you so pained? You think if you flip the sides, congo won't do the worse? Baba rest |

oloriooko: Iwobi with a goal and assist Ful 2 Bre 1 40" Why are we not using iwobi the he is used at Fulham ? There is no need for Simon, iwobi is so intelligent and can be the outlet we need if used the same way he is used at Fulham. This will relieve him of midfield responsibilities |

Odunayaw: Probably Onyeka to shield the CBs and Ndidi to win balls high up the pitch.
Anyway, a sub of Onyedika and Uche maintains the high energy in the middle. Make Iwobi just come to the party Abi Ndidi to shield. Onyeka should win balls upfront |

TheSuperNerd: As for the midfield. I knew Chelle will start Ndidi and Onyeka again. Onyedika is there. No! Uche is there! Mbanu! Either one of Ndidi or Onyeka should be starting. They are similar workhouse profiles in the middle. absolutely correct. Ndidi is not the same ndidi, onyedika should be there. |

Mybettingtips: Understand Marcus Rashford has taken a salary cut to join Barcelona. He will be paid around €10m-gross, including bonuses. The concession allows Barcelona to now pay 100% of his wage.🔵🔴 (@JacobsBen)
€10m is around £8m. He earns £18m at United and took a pay cut to now earn £8.5m(€10m) gross at Barcelona. Atleast nobody de shout racism again since Rashford na black man. This scenario is similar to Osimhen’s issue. Frozen out of his present team like Rashford both players on huge salary. One is ready to take pay cut to play at one of the biggest clubs in the world and see if he can revive his career and get into England World Cup team. Our biggest star in world football is being encouraged to give up on making a legacy for himself and go to Turkey to compete against Arunanaspor, kwashiorkor fc I am a serious osimhen fan. But this statement touched me At times one needs to go a little low to hit higher heights . I rest my comment Sincerely I am seriously pained . This osimhen to gala no just make sense. There is joy that comes when one of your biggest player is hitting it at the highest level. But sha , no be my life, na him life My simple question he will need to answer is What is his exit plan ? You can't go to turkey and play only one season The moment Nigeria gets a serious contender to his position, he will be fizzled out. |

komekn: First of all the basis of national team selection has to be outstanding consistent performance in league and club, EOD.
Chukwueze has had too many caps and not done much in my opinion and should not be there.
Olakunle has no basis to be there. Ndidi looks expired and hard working Frank doesn't offer any attacking threat.
I would have liked to see more effort to get a really top level CB like Tosin and there should have been more efforts to get midfielders Tim Iroegbunam and Carney Chukwuemaka.
Tolu looks very mobile and athletic for such a tall striker is he really 6"6❓ liked the composure and quality he used to score.
Igoh, Benjamin and Agu have not by club form justified inclusion, how many games has Benjamin played for Brentford ❓
What happened to Tella he has not had a run of games to make a claim, how could olakunle get in but not Tella.
Finally, Etebo is only 29 why don't we hear from him again did he upset somebody in the NFF. Ogogoro no good at all |

Daninya33: Here are my recommendation after watching today's game.
Ekong,Ajayi,Bruno and Osayi should be dropped going forward. Both CBs were sluggish today.I am not convinced with our RB and LB today. Fredrick Benjamin,Igoh,AINA and Bassey should be our defenders going forward.
Our midfield trio should be Ndidi/Onyeka/Onyedika,Bashiru/ Iwobi, Uche.
Would love to see Ejuke invited to add width to our flank. Simon Moses can't even dribble his marker, low budget Doku. I can't even remember him beating his marker. Nathan Tella is no upgrade to the current wingers we have.
My top 3 strikers for the SE are VO9, Dessers and Tolu.
I will pick Okoye as my number 1. He deserves it. Well crafted 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌 U will still have to drop ndidi |
