Its about scoring goals not dominating.

Whats the point of dominating then losing or drawing a match.

Spain dominated Morroco in the last world cup but it was Morroco that won the match.
U are right. But see ee, this team will be marvellous if they allow this guy. U think we would have been in this situation if we had someone with this idea from the start. Finidi and Peseiro got us where we are now. Let's not forget
With the right personnel, eagles will dominate Africa. Quote me
The man is tactically good

I might be naive, but I don’t understand his formation, justifications for fielding Chukwueze, Moses, Lookman at the same time .. many a time the wingers even looked flustered with their positions !
There is nothing wrong with the formation.
It's all about pressing and players that know how to use small spaces.
If you watch the super eagles u will noticed during defending its like all man press, irrespective of the position. The real formation comes in when we attack. U will notice Simon going wild. And Lookman slotting in to like he does in atalanta like a false 9.
The only person jot fitting is CHUKWUEZE. Somebody like UCHE or if we had Eze would have exploited those spaces.

They should allow chelle
The guy is not bad. If there is one thing I noticed from our games, we clearly dominated. Our strikers were wasteful and the referee didn't help matters esp the penalty call on osihmen.
However we do not deserve a world cup spot.
SA did their work and they should represent africa
Chelle is tactically sound. I don't know what some moniker as saying here. Besides I haven't seen super eagles dominate play like this
If they allow this guy to get his personnels right, we are in for a monster super eagles team.

Update on TheGoodJoe

NB: Please kindly put banters aside and take this seriously. Resist also the insensitive temptation to link this to Man City's current run of form. This is no joking matter, I plead

Now, I know a couple of monikers have been asking for weeks now about the whereabouts of TheGoodJoe. Truth is, I didn't want to share anything even though I knew all along what was happening with him and that is because I had not gotten his consent yet to share it (I have that now). He was going through a whole lot healthwise and I kept touch with him from the onset.
I just didn't wanna bring something so sensitive and private without his consent to the thread.

About 2 weeks ago or so, TheGoodJoe suffered a diabetic mini-stroke that really knocked him down. It led to him entering a semi-coma which kept him bed ridden for days but now he is up and fine again and has even been discharged as recently as yesterday.

He is fine but still undergoing serious followup checks with his doctors and more.

Please, kindly channel some of your prayers 🙏🏽🙏🏽to TheGoodJoe's health. Pray that this diabetic episode won't see the last of him. It is well. Amen.

In all, TheGoodJoe is sound currently. He can walk again and move around. He couldn't as at several days and weeks back. He is okay but still needs checks to ensure no relapse occurs. We thank God for his Life.

He also wishes you all a Merry Christmas and a Wonderful New Year ahead.
thank God he is sound.

How to pick fast midfielders that look once and drop a pass into space for the kinds of Lookman and Osimhen is currently a problem in the SE setup. No dulling. Colet ball, and release shapali. Game dey shapali open up that way cos even without pressing, opponents are nervy after 2 scares under 15mins.

Then sustaining that approach again. One sub and pressure just drops. 😭
baba you nailed it.
I am even thinking playing Lookman and osihmen upfront in a 352 format. Iwobi playing left wing back with midfield trio of onyeka, onyedika and dele/Uche then ola Aina as the other right wing back. I left ndidi for some reasons.

With this Iwobi can cut into midfield when necessary. He is that intelligent , Lookman can be free to drift to the wings and also forward position like he does in atalanta. Dele can pounce on lose balls because he has that shot taking in him. Of course our normal three defenders. Look at what Lookman was feeding the strikers yesterday de ketelaere and retegui. Osimh,
en will damage Madrid with those balls. Lookman prevails when he acts as a decoy drifting into the left wing and striker positions. He picks holes excellently and his quick thinking can cause damages to defenders when he is inside that box. Playing and restricting him to the wing reduces his efficiency.

If we get good personal deployment seriously we are good to go. Watching ademola yesterday, I was in awe. What a gem we have. Our coaches should watch these guys and play to their strength. I believe there is a reason Fulham coach doesnt give Iwobi that central midfield role some crucial matches allowing him in that left wing to act as a creative outlet which the young man interprets awesomely.

Iheanacho is NOT a winger.

Osho is NOT ready.

Iwobi does NOT have the grit and stamina to play in a two man (3-4-3) midfield.

Osimhen is NOT reliable.

Nwabali is NOT reliable.

Only Man City has been playing matches , other clubs have been resting, that's why Man City players are exhausted.

Let me tell you, I had to watch Man City today's match from the beginning to the end just to know what's truly wrong with Man City.
The Man City I just finished watching points to 1 thing, most of Man City players aren't just good enough to play for Man City, they might excel in a smaller or medium clubs though.

Walker is old, Lewis is not worth starting for Southampton, Nunes is not better than any other players in the EPL, Gundogan and Bernando Silver contributes nothing to that team aside just hold and turning with the ball, Salvinho is not better than Micheal Babatunde, that young CB that played nothing can never be Cubarsi, Doku and Grealish are just to complete number's... In all, if Guardiola should continue, that Man City team needs total overhaul.
kpom!!!!!

Our team is clearly exhausted. If you watch our game against Iraola of Bournemouth, it was the same thing. Not saying that Amorim is not exceptional but this game could be deceiving. Even though Osimhen is my brother (we are from the same place, so no one can accuse me of hating him), I will soon have that one time because as a striker, you can't be in a team that has scored 8 goals in the both matches he has played and he hasn't scored any.

As bad as Dessers is he would have scored atleast 2 of those 8 goals. It simply shows Osimhen positioning and reading of the game is damn bad and he must work on it.

Icardi that got injured would have scored 3 of the 8 goals, even Batshuayi that's on the bench for Osimhen would have also scored atleast 1 of the 8 goals.

The subtitutions are bad
Revert to 433, remove one defender and bring in a midfielder to stabilize and support Ndidi and iwobi.
With a balanced midfield any player we have upfront can do the job.
Replacing a player of kind to kind is a sign of no solution.
NFF must do the needful NOW
