Culture / Is It A Culture That Women Should Fight For Their Husbands Property? by CHUKSKALIDONN: 10:30pm On Jan 17, 2015
Before you begin to misunderstand, read this post well and comment accordingly.
This could be considered as a trivial matter or situation but am concerned about it as an adage says in Igbo......ihe ojoo gbaa afo oburu omenani....Women that goes into marriage are said to posses some personality that could either label them as good or bad wife but am specifically concerned about one.
When women in their fight against possessiveness directly or indirectly disconnects their husbands from his direct family, could this be justified culturally or is it an attribute of a bad wife? This question may look silly but its asked not on a general note but , based on a particular situation witnessed; which, thereupon, seem to justify it as an acceptable culture linked with women being culturally eligible to fight for their husband property.
So, I feel like gaining wisdom upon this.....is this a culture that women should be the one fighting for the husbands property. Secondly, can it be justified that husbands should allow their wife to disassociate them from their direct families on the basis of them offering advice on family relationships to their husband : does it mean in marriage the rights or decisions for family relationships culturally rests on a woman rather than the man?
Thanks

Governor Amaechi is acting within the law

The stadium is not yet completed. A president with a so called PhD should know the health & safety implications of conducting a campaign in such a venue.

Unlike him and his cronies, the APC will not endanger the lives of Nigerians like he did with Immigration recruitment exercise. The APC values the lives of Nigerians.

The PDP can campaign on the streets like they have been doing so far.

I lost appetite on ur post the moment I deciphered the immaturity in you as a being.

There are jinns. I know what I'm talking about. I'm not speaking on hearsay or my opinion of how I feel life should be. You can ask spiritual elders. I assume you are a traditionalist, then talk to your elders that are enlightened.
However I do share your opinion of the body limiting the soul. Once the soul is free of the body, it can do supernatural things the jinns can do.
I may not know more about the deities of traditional worships but while I was still a student in lasu and coupled with the accompanying youthful exuberance, I've had access to what very few I've had courtesy of an uncle of a very close friend who I think wad an apena or so and is also a saint of some society. Fashy the knowledge of history of the deities.
Your elders may know there are forces but do not know how to relate it with jinns having not been exposed to knowledge about them from other sources.
The exposure I've had makes me appreciate Islam, the platform I worship my creator more.

I agree with you with the example of UFO you gave.
What I read in the Quran is the Lord of man, jinns and ALL that exists.
Irrespective of what some scholars may think, I do believe there are other creatures outside of our planet. The whole universe is too vast for life to be on only our planet.
Once the soul assumes into a body, it becomes imprisoned by it. The soul is incapable of physicality by itself thus needs a body for physically but the arguments of reason and that of Plato suggests that the soul is tortured and imprisoned by the body thus rendering it still and inactive...if the soul(spirit) can actually posses a body and become active then all human beings are in one way or the other a spirit.......there is nothing like jinn....a soul is a soul and a body is a body. If a soul possesses a body it becomes imprisoned by it as on humans.......thanks

That's your prerogative. If a religion is said to be a way of life, you naturally expected it to resolve all issues relating to living. If you decide to belie it that's your issue. weather you like it or this phenomenon is part of living on this world and Islam had given the completed details about it. its left to you, your reasoning and free will.
Islam's account of akudaya is messed up.....I have my argument ready.

Akudaya: Myth or Reality?

What is Akudaya?
It simply means incarnation or reincarnation.

Myth or Reality?
Both

Explain please:
It is a myth because when a person dies he(or she) does not come back to life(world). He(or she) can no longer be seen.
How then is it real. But we hear stories about them. So?. Jinn(Alujonu) at work. They take form of dead people. They could take form of your grandfather that died longtime ago and people who know your grandfather will confirm seeing him. In short, the reality is 'he' is seen. The myth is the person seen is not your real grandfather. You can get deep sense of this in Islam. When someone dies, that's it. The person is dead for real whether natural death or murdered.
Jinns reside in dirty, filthy places, like bathroom, filthy uncompleted building. That's why it's advisable to wear clothe to cover private part when taking shower. Cover yourself with blanket (etc) during intercourse. Don't be scared now. They don't necessarily reside in all dirty bathrooms or places. Jinns are endowed with supernatural perception. They lodge where they can see human but human beings can not see them. They can see you taking shower, having intercourse etc. Most of them are liars. Never take their words seriously. In a nutshell, if you see "Akudaya", a relative, he or she is not your relative so long as the person is dead. Hope this answer your question. See if you can find useful info in this link.

Nairaland / General / After Deactivating My Nairaland Account ! by CHUKSKALIDONN: 9:12pm On Nov 11, 2014
I pondered for a while on which forum I place this particular thread of mine. Luckily, I wasn't caught up with my normal indecisiveness as I quickly dived unto the romance forum since this was the place I spent much of my time.
Its been years I deactivated my Nairalamd account for some crazy reasons. I couldn't have imagined watching Nairaland as a guest. I never thought of watching the romance forum on the sideline though our normal wooing challenge got sour, MR/MISS Nairaland competition became tasteless and I seized sight of romance icons such as: @cdamsel, @prettyann, @idowuogbo(badoski) etc.
Dear Nairaland, welcome me back.......dear romancers hug me again. I enjoyed watching u guys from the sideline though I must admit its practically boring and sad. I might not regret deactivating you (chukskalidon) but I regretted ever not having u again as a username. I regretted directing anger towards u rather than the cause. I began to lose my big-earned romantic quality and humor. I began to feel unfriendly and hostility.........
My fellow romancers....welcome me back.......dear (chukskalidon) I've decided to bring u home but this time around with an extra letter attached behind u....its good to be back..........CHEERS.
