Nice one. All hands must be on deck to eradicate polio. But more efforts should be made up north were cases of rejection of vaccines are always reported. Maybe picking a notable northern personality whom they know and can "trust" as an ambassador will help matters. End Polio Now! |
Interesting. But always remember: Crime pays no one. Why couldn't he put his IT skills to lawful, better and productive use? Meanwhile, FTC |
kunlesmiles:Really? the only materials I sourced around were coconut & palm kernel shells and cow bones. With these, I prepared six different activated carbons. The desulphurization process plus checking the sulphur content in the diesel oil after each experimental run were the major costs incurred. |
kunlesmiles:wow nice one. That's you impregnated your adsorbents with silver nano-particles? Yes yours will yield better results. But, that means the laboratory you're working with has the means and equipment to imbibe nanotechnology in desulphurization. That's a plus cause standard and up to date laboratories are hard to find |
This was my undergraduate research topic. "Experimental Investigations and Optimization on the Effect of Different Activated Carbons and Process Parameters on the Desulphurization of Diesel Oil". It was an Eye-opener and I learnt a lot during that period. Though it was time and resource consuming. A dosage of 1.2g of acid activated palm kernel shell activated carbon, time of 15mins and temperature of 60°C gave the optimum sulphur removal from 12.125mg/ml to 3.375mg/ml. This process is less expensive and kinda more efficient and easy to carry out when compared to industrial HDS (Hydro Desulphurization). I Rep ChE FUTO!
