Medicals would be after dis 1st process, but we did d height and tatoo + navel check only... That is, after they have taken like 15 or So from each state to screen @ NAF base KD, dats where medicals proper and running wud come into play.

It wasn't Strict o. They checked 4 tatoos, big navel, height, then d credentials were jus: birth cert, waec cert, class of degree, State, LGA and age as at december last year, Shikena!

toju: items to bring to the enlistment center, birth certificate, originals of educational certificate and nysc discharge certificate, letter of attestation of good character, attestation of parent/guardian consent form, attestation of local government area, acknowledgement card and writing material. doubt if the testimonial is mandatory.

well, when we all get there, we all are gonna see 4 ourselves and wud be able to present "whatsoever" they so require... just hold ur testimonials to be on the "safer" side... thanks!

The issue is running the distance against time. Am an NNBTS applicant not DSSC. When we went to PH for interview, i managed to cover the 3.5km in 18mins, even though i even find myself at the last third role, men i almost die that day o. Not that i dont run 3.5km b4 i went, infact i cover like 8+km to and fro, but that in 1hour, which isn't close to 3.5km in 15 - 20 minutes. Its not compulsory that you should cover the distance in such a time, you will always enter the second bus or at worse, third bus.

ok sir! But when I went for NDA interview 2006 (58RC), We ran 3.5km unda 15mins o, i came unda 12mins and some secs coz i was with a stop watch... well, times av changed... So sir, to be on the "safer" side, i'd advice d 3.5km in 18mins, practice makes perfect... No 4get say some extraordinary human beings dey wey get long sprinter legs o...

Whitest: “ur own beta small sef“,mine i dnt hav any soul in kd.“D tin jst tire me“,all my frnds dat registered wit me are discouraged because of d accomodation stuff,am d only one stil willing to run d race to d end, eventhou i applied under a related cos,but dis accomodation is really a “pain“.

Permission 2 speak ma mind freely: u shuda jus saved d stress and u wud av chosen a centre that is close to where u reside... its really absurd when i heard a guy dat is about leaving lagos all the way to KD for mere "zonal enlistment" which he isnt sure of making; the worst of all is dat he doesnt knw a single soul in KD...

unshake: not really, but there must be a way out

the only ways out are:
1. get there in advance and book accomodation in guest houses along mando road or necco bus stop area or anywhere in KD... Make findings
2. If u know someone that knows someone in KD

The docus to bring are clearly stated on ur acknoledgement card that u must have printed online... + u can print like 3 - 4 copies (photocopies) to be on the safer side...

4 d fact dat u bought NAF form is ok 4 u 2 go to ur centre... But wait till dis evening, if nothing comes out and ur centre is far 4rm u, don't waste time, run 2 ur centre ASAP...

I av read the listed 1 - 9 items. NA and NAF are 2 different orgs unda d armed forces and their selections r quite different. Remember, army has ShortliSted "30" per state and Airforce hasn't done so... Airforce is looking for ways to cut down the numerous form purchasers because Airforce will still bring out 15 or so from each state that will go to NAF base Kaduna for d rigorous medical and other screenings.
At this stage we r goin 4 "zonal", they know so many pple don't av testimonials dats y they made it ā "mandatory" issue so that they can reduce the over 50,000 applicants to 15 or so per state. NAF brought out their own requirements, its advicable that u follow sooth so dat u can be on d safe side. Hope u r clear...
