Currency speculators vs Land speculators

Q: Dollar is rising in the parallel mkt, why?

A: Speculators are holding dollar expecting it to Increase, so they can convert it to Naira and make cool profits.

Effect : Dollar - Naira Exchange rate keeps Increasing!

Solution: CBN bans inflow of dollar(cash) into domicilary account. So the dollar becomes gradually worthless in d hands of d speculators.

Result : Fairly Good

Q : House rents be rising rapidly in the Major cities eg lagos, why?

A : Speculators are buying lands and refusing to develop it. Holding it so in the next 10yrs they can sell it and make profit

Effect : leads to Increased pressure In housing due to increasing population = Increasing Rents

Solution: State government places fine for any Undeveloped land in the state

CultureCons Of Living In "Eko" Lagos State by Chukzyfcb(op): 10:01am On Aug 06, 2015
Noise! Noise!! Noise! From car horns, or even dilapidated vehicles struggling to move on the road. Noise from generators & congested traffic jam. Every thing here is on the fast-lane. Life is always on the go. Maybe its just me and my personality but to me lagos is too 'hush hush'. Its quite a city I dont like. Other than the infrastructures & the money to be made here, I dont quite fancy it... If development could hasten up in other states it'll reduce overdependency in d state...Y'all cud share ur own views bout things u don't like in "EKO".
Christianity EtcWhere Are Our Peacemakers by Chukzyfcb(op): 9:39am On Aug 06, 2015
How many Peacemakers do we have around us?

We all love peace, who doesn't? Most of us are Peace lovers but sadly not Peacemakers.
Being a peacemaker takes a lot of Skill. You listen to both parties & agree with them so you can receive a common goal. You develop the word "Empathy"; You try to share in their pain, to understand the reason behind their actions. You agree to disagree.
It also entails being a smart talker. Because you'v shared in the pain, you know the RIGHT WORDS to say to soothe their pain. Unfortunately most of us are poor listeners, we listen to REPLY and not listen to UNDERSTAND. The bible says Blessed are the Peacemakers, not "peace lovers" for they shall be called sons of God...... Peace making is a "DYING" trait that is gradually lacking in humans, strive to be one today.
