Thank you so much for your input

truvine:
Ikenne as a town don't have too many banks.
I know Ereke microfinance and may be the defunct intercontinental.
Why dont you start POS (Agency banking )
Yes, I know someone might have started it close to you, just search for where we don't have yet and a location close to the residence of the big boys .
Agency Banking is profitable

You may want to also look into retail gas filling as well.
This one demand that you also look for a location that's far from a filling plant and where theres no retail gas sales already.
People cook daily and cooking gas is fast taking over kerosene stove
Do your research

Your capital will still start any of the two

Why not give the details of your business here..

tojos:

I got a business for you, and it's one of the businesses I do part-time while working. I'm even considering quitting my job in order to go fully into the business, because it's a gold-mine of a business that so many people are not aware of . Briefly, let me highlight some features of the business:

It's stress free.

Like I stated earlier, you may choose to do the business part-time or full-time.

It's easy to start and requires a minimum capital of about 45k.

Unlike some businesses out there that tend to collapse, your investment will be 100% safe.

100% ROI can be achieved within a few months of investing depending on your efforts. Even with the minimum investment of 45k, you can make 7 million naira in a year by re-investing your earnings. It all boils down to your effort.

The business guarantees residual income for your family long after you retire. That means an investment that would never go down, and your income would keeps coming in multiples for the rest of life and for your family to inherit.

And to conclude, this business is 100% legit and real. Even people in the diaspora are investing in it.

If you want to know more about the business I'm talking about, chat me up for free on my whatsapp 08023032540. Thank me later.

Thanks Mr Redman .. I will do my study and maybe eventually give it a shot. My town is a very small town but not saying this as an excuse..

I appreciate you once again sir

@Churchstreet, try to look at NUMBERS. You will still make your profit cool cool cool cool. Weekend sales alone in a busy area or higher institution can get you the ROI you need. Cheers. Besides, did any of the Puff Puff sellers or Buns Sellers tell you they are not making profit cool cool cool? Hmn.

@Churchstreet, I think you should go into the Food and Snacks business. Snacks business for fast returns especially. People need to eat and drink ' On The Go '. You can start with puff puff, buns and donuts. Find someone to make Zobo drinks for you, or better still, make the Zobo yourself. Find used plastic soft drink bottles from shops around you, wash them very well and use them for your Zobo. Look for Ice block sellers in your area and get some basic frying equipment. The money you use to start up should not be more than 70, 000 to 100, 000 Naira.

You can sell outside Secondary schools when they close and the students will buy from you. Don't be shy. Be Focused and make good puff puff, buns and Donuts. Make sure your Zobo Drinks are well made. tasty and very cold. You can also supply buns and puff puff to shops, betting centers etc. You can choose to sell outside different schools everyday ( Monday-Friday ). Make some flyers and distribute them to students of the schools you intend to sell to. Number One Rule: Don't be SHY. Be BOLD. You can make your snacks at home.

Ask around for the prices of Puff Puff, Buns and Donuts and see if you can come down a little bit with your prices. You are Blessed.

Thank you for your input Mr Redman
At this stage , I don't mind going into anything in as much I'm guaranteed a good ROI. And for the suggested business in my location, I won't say its dead on arrival as its everywhere here. Once again, I appreciate your time sir

Hi Everyone,

Please I need business ideas for the aforementioned capital. To start with, it has not been easy with joblessness after service years back. I was able to raise this money recently but don't have any idea of what to embark on. I need businessmen and mentors who can guide and put me through on this. I'm resident in Ogun State, Ikenne precisely. I can't wait to have a business to my name and earn a good living.

I'll appreciate responses as soon as possible. Thank you all for your time.

Hello Churchstreet,

To an extent, age doesn't play much role. Based on the details you provided regarding your academic history, going for a second bachelor or a diploma isn't advisable but note that its also not impossible to secure you a visa. It all boils down to how well you present your application and the perspective approach the VO would apply to scrutinize your application.

As it stands, a Master is more suitable to count as an advancement. But however, a PGD/C should be considered only if you decide not to declare your previous PGD. As for your SOP, only state what is relevant to your application. It is good you focus more on the weak-links in your application in order to provide better clarity.

Its advisable you apply to at least two schools for improved possibility of admission.

Good luck!

Thank you for your time.. I will try search online for institutions offering PGD which can fit in my budget..

Once again, I appreciate your time and I'll get in touch if I'll be needing anything.

good day, pls I have a cousin who has both a third class and also a 2:1 in computer science ,but in a different yrs intervals,he applied for a 1year diploma course in cyber security specialist co-op and he was granted visa that was early this year and also he was 32 yrs of age as at the time he applied for it, so why do u say a 27yrs graduate should not try it? well I just think it all depends on the VO that handled the application mixed with luck

Thanks for your contribution and encouragement sir..

If you don't mind , I would love to hear more about this and what do you recommend.

I welcome contributions from others too as I have limited time. I need to get back to my sponsor with a conclusion asap before she changes her mind.

Hello, everyone as a chance to get into Canada. However little factors can count against you;
1. Applying for another Bsc program. Please don't try it.

2. Going for a mere "diploma" program. That's also a no.

3. What you need is a post graduate program that gives you the opportunity to get exrta credit to boost your weak BSc and also give you relevant skills to get a good job afet graduation.

Recommendations;
1. Cape Breton University post baccalaureate business programs
2. Thompson Rivers university post baccalaureate business programs.

A post baccalaureate program is of interest to students who have a degree and want to return to university for one or two years to acquire a specialty in a functional area of business. Students with a first degree in business, but who want to change their area of focus, may complete a post-baccalaureate diploma as well.

Thank you for this, I really appreciate your contribution.

I looked up both universities and read about their programs. For Thompson Rivers, my sponsor can't afford that and for Cape Brenton, its not explanatory enough as the course outline are not listed to know the exact fee .

Going by your expertise, I would be glad if you can help me with the fees calculation for Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Business Management(2yr program) .

Thank you once again

Hello Gurus in the house

I have been a silent reader on this thread for a while but I need an advice at the moment urgently.

Let me brief you about myself. I'm a 27y/o lady with Bsc finance(3rd class) and PGD finance. I rounded up nysc in 2015 and haven't gotten a job since then.

A friend of mine who is resident in Canada suggested to me an idea on migrating to Manitoba via school. She suggested a school ( University College of the North), the Pas Manitoba because of its cheap tuition.

I checked for the programs online but all they offer is undergraduate diploma courses and few Bachelor's programs.

Right now, I'm thinking of applying for a two year diploma course in Business Administration as its a perquisite to getting a bachelor's degree in Business Administration according to their website..(I.e. 2 yrs for diploma and another two years program to be awarded a BSc).

And the tuition per year is around (6300 cad) which I feel is the least i have ever come across for an international student.

My question now is
1. Can someone of my age apply for the diploma

2. What are my chances of getting a visa by applying for an undergraduate diploma ( as whether to include in my LoE that I have a university degree or just my high school result)

3. What and what are to be explained in my SoP and how to address the year gap of my studies and all. ( ssce 2008, Bsc 2014, PGD 2019)

Lastly , I see this is an opportunity for me as its affordable for my sponsor so I await your contribution as I intend to apply for Sept 2020. Thank you
