Did you apply using gov.uk or visa4uk.fco.gov.uk?

I applied using Visa4uk this is alarming, I was told yesterday that a decision has been made on my application and I also sent an email to TLS yesterday to know what's happening. Which site did u use when applying? Any news on ur end?

Urgent : i applied for my mum's vacation visa to the uk on the 7th of may, till date no decision has been made. We've called the ukvi center and they gave us a" reference number " no word, no decision, no passport. She's been traveling since the 80's and has never been rejected. She has a passport filled with uk and American visa histories. What in the name of God is going on. Someone please advise.

I think we are both in the same boat.. I submitted mins and did biometrics on the 10th of May.. I called UKVI today and was told a decision has been made.. but no email yet.. I also want to TLS Ikeja last week Thursday they said passport not yet ready.. so am still hoping to get their email.

When did u call UKVI? If today maybe u shud make plans to go to the TLS office where u submitted.

Please keep me updated on ur application

Good Morning everyone.

My mum and kid sister got their Visa this morning.

Biometrics - 22nd May
UKVI mail- 29th May
Visa issued on 11th June

This visa thing is just grace, because we were so scared since we didn't provide some information we thought we needed.

We applied for Family visit Visa, we would be going for my Sisters Convocation.

Mine is yet to come as I did my biometrics few days after them, I wasn't in town.
I hope I get tooo.

Thank you everyone, this group helped me a lot

Congratulations... I have not gotten any response on my application.

Did Biometrics on the 10th of May
Received by UKVI and prepared for consideration by ECO ON the 14th of May

Just yesterday received a mail in my spam that is a survey if I have received any decision made with my application within the last 3 months.

Until this moment I have not received any mail from UKVI PR TLS. It's been about 30 working days now.

thanks buddy.. I am reapplying asap. just met a woman at tls ikeja today, she is an immigration lawyer and she told me she will write the British high commission on my behalf to review my case..
she charge me for her service which I pay but just wondering if something like this truly exist or not...

Were u allowed to appeal /administrative review? Cos I realized a lot of people at the gate there tend to want to help help reapply.. so am not sure if they are immigration lawyer.. but there is no harm in trying. But u shud have asked the gurus here first before paying..

congrats Bro... mine was refused.. the ECO said I lodge money from an unknown account...

the money has been entering my account from my wife's account now for over 2years now but I am surprised the eco refers to the money sent from her account to mine as inconsistent

also when asked while filling the form how much do you get in a year I calculated my salary and money from family members together, but the eco only saw the money as my other income and not total income.

I was refused on
paragraph 42 code...

Am really so sorry about the refusal bro.. just stay strong I know it can be depressing but u can always reapply... just make sure to put some things clearly the next time.. I really wish u the best

I haven't received pick up mail from tls...
still waiting for their mail even though I paid sms service fee which they have not send any sms so far to me..

To those guys at TLS are slow and I don't even think their sms is active again.. if u stay close to the centre maybe u can try to see if it's at the centre and they have not updated their system. Keep ur fingers crossed and hope for the best. It's as if those agents at the tlc centre there want people to be denied so they can offer to assist to help secure a visa...

I tried registering to see if I can track but I still can't... I filled my form via visa4uk website so it's not from TLScontact.
I guess I will have to go check tomorrow cos it might have been returned and I will still be waiting without knowing.cos it's already 22 working days. Which is far gone from the stipulated 15 working days...

I went to TLS Ikeja center this morning to check and pick up my passport. But was told it's not yet ready. And I was told I will be sent an email when its ready for collection. I did my biometrics on the 10th of May.

Which visa type did u apply for?
Normally if it is tourist visa it takes just 15 working days. When I submitted this Feb, I only received the 1st mail that my application av bin received, then the last mail was my visa is ready for collection.
Atimes if it is taking time to come out, there are many people that applied, especially now that summer is around the corner.
For the tracking check the website and see if u can find it, the last I applied a sister assisted me to track it. Other house members can contribute.

I actually applied for the tourist visa for 6 months.. it's been about 21 working days now after my biometrics on the 10th of May. Am still waiting for an email, though I already wrote to TLS yesterday.

Am a little worried not knowing a decision has been made and no mail to me and also don't know how to track it on TLS website.. please our gurus in the house I need ur advice here. Thanks
