richiemcgold: I watched the full video yesterday. What happened there was more of a protocol observation than old age syndrome. Turkish president was helping him to turn because they have to face the military parade for few seconds.
All in all, old age is telling on our president. He walks sluggishly and carefully and he is no more agile like before. I doubt if Tinubu is truly 73. That man is never 73! He should be approaching 90! My old man that's 83 is still far more agile that him |

budaatum: This must have been my parent's philosophy when they were birthing us.
We mostly grew up in Lagos so farmland we had none, but we still grew our own vegetables and some cassava, yam, maize, pepper and bitter leaf on the little patch we had, and I can't forget how our biscuit was pawpaws of which we had loads.
My kids though, would think all food comes from a supermarket, except for the spinach we grew in the garden, and the apples and pear trees.
Farming is the one thing I miss not being home. It's sort of been replaced with ubereats or a trip to a restaurant. You have apple trees bearing fruits?? |
Family › Re: What If Waiting Is The Real Problem? by ChybuzzDD(m): 6:37am On Jan 29 |
Kobojunkie: African men are part of the reason why the healthcare system continues to discriminate and belittle the health and concerns of African women. 🙄🙄🙄
We know that some women who have had kids can also go on to develop fibroids, and some women without children at all could live their lives never encountering problems with PCOS or fibroids. There may be limited research that has been carried out on this to date, but we know enough to no longer link fibroids with pregnancies. So, why in 2026, are you looking to drag women back to where it was approximately 30 years ago? 🙄🙄 The way you seriously argue about things you're not familiar with can be very annoying! Who told you it's a Nigerian thing to believe that nulliparity predisposes to fibroid?? Something that is well documented in medical literature?! Or are medical books & literatures written by Nigerians? For your information, below are the risk factors for fibroid and that No5 is what you're ignorantly arguing against: Major Risk Factors for Fibroids1. Age: Risk increases during reproductive years, especially in women in their 30s and 40s. They typically shrink after menopause. 2. Family History: A mother or sister with fibroids significantly increases risk. 3. Ethnicity: Black women are more likely to develop fibroids at younger ages, with larger and more frequent occurrences, often experiencing worse symptoms. 4. Obesity/Weight: High body weight or, specifically, high body mass index (BMI) is associated with an increased risk. 5. Reproductive History: Early menarche (before 11) is a risk factor. Conversely, never having given birth (nulliparity) increases risk, while having children decreases it. 6. Dietary Factors: High consumption of red meat, alcohol (including beer), and processed foods may raise risks, while diets rich in green vegetables and fruit may lower it. 7. Vitamin D Deficiency: Low levels of Vitamin D are linked to increased risk. 8. Environmental Factors: Exposure to certain phthalates (found in plastics) may increase risk. Factors That May Lower Risk1. Pregnancy: Pregnancy and childbirth have a protective effect. 2. Contraceptives: Long-term use of oral or injectable contraceptives may reduce the risk. |

Now, my account is back to about 3k usdt. I didn't add all the money I've withdrawn since I started crypto trading, cos if I add them, then my account by now should be about 11k to 14k usdt balance . I want to assume it is hurt from years talking.
This life ain't balanced and isn't fair.
Taking your story at face value, your mother is the toxic one. However, parents' curses whether you feel they are justified or not are quite potent.
Like that poster said, apologize to your mother, get her to reverse the curse, apologize to your father's people, gey their blessing and thereafter, take a looonnng break from your mother to find your feet and heal yourself mentally.
It is well. Give me a verifiable example of anyone whose parents cursed and he became useless as a result of that, and never succeeded even where his mates succeeded. All these are just fvcking hearsay and superstitious beliefs being passed around from generations to generations, even when there's no evidence to support them. |

Nice2023: As a man,u need to go back to ur mum to ask her to forgive u.
The truth is,for the fact that u have allowed a woman who birth u to curse u...guy,no be moi moi,ur life can never balance.
U adamantly committed an abomination...a serious one. U chose to help ur mother when things were going on well for u and no-one forced u ,u chose to stay to instead of going away from her.
Most African parents are toxic and funny in ways u can't explain.
Go back to her,if possible repay her the cost of that pot of soup and ask her to take back her curses, next try and locate ur fathers people...look for ur fathers brother or elder one that is the most senior in ur fathers side. Apologise to him and ask him to bless u...he is the symbol of ur father, the man who holds ur family mantle and thereafter, find a way and start a fresh from their and never u look back again.
Good luck to u and if u continue to stay in that house,ur mental health would be dealt with. She should he apologise to the wicked and troublesome woman? For what?! Is she God? Enough of these pieces of advice that are based on stvvp!d, superstitious beliefs! No human has the power to curse anyone! |

Not their fault. If not that Libya stunts was becoming embarrassing CAF wouldn't have acted. Same with Morocco getting away with their fans pointing led lights on the faces of opposition players at the last WAFCON, yet somehow they got away with it. So why won't Algeria try their luck?
