Foreign Affairs › Re: Syrian Soldiers Chant Anti-Israel Slogans In Damascus Military Parade by ChybuzzDD(m): 6:05am On Dec 10, 2025 |
FreeStuffsNG: Israeli Army Radio correspondent Doron Kadosh reported on Tuesday that in the past 24 hours, senior Israeli security officials discussed the possible implications of the chants. According to Kadosh, Israel is expected to take diplomatic steps, including sending "stern messages to the Syrian regime and demanding that it condemn the chants."
Yinmu.
Even Trump knows the truth that he has been exposed as the one backing and supplying the weapons used for committing the Gaza genocide.
Las las, the Arabs will eventually send back the Europeans calling themselves Isreali and supplanted as proxy for US and the west in the middle to their homeland in Europe.
Palestine will be free like South Africa. Supporter of hate-filled terrorists, don't start crying about genocide when you initiate another thoughtless war of hate Your intolerant arab jihadsts will never be able to drive out the jews from their ancestral lands The jews were the ones ruled by the Romans in that land, not your hate-filled arab migrants who are the descendants of the arabs that invaded jerusalem in 636AD during the islamic conquests |

Samantha125: Ever since I moved away from home few years back, my eldest sister's children finally visited me for the first time during their spring holidays in October and we had a great time together, as a result, they had a lot of things to say to their cousins. Now their 3 cousins, who are also my niblings have been begging me to come over for the festive period, but there's one issue, their father is the same man who shot my husband two times last year, murdered his little niece, and made an attempt on my life... Personally, I've never held what happened against them, in fact, they saved me, had they not been present during the shooting, I don't think I'd have been still around. My love for them has never changed and we still have a decent aunt and niblings relationship, but I wouldn't want to put my husband in an uncomfortable position by allowing them to come over without his full approval as he's still dealing with the trauma of everything that transpired. Last time we spoke about the incident, he made it clear how he never wanted to hear anything related to my brother-in-law ever again. So I'm in dilemma as to what I should do, should I try to convince my husband to reconsider? Because those children had no hand in their father's evil deeds, in fact, some people, specifically guys, came forth after his arrest and started speaking up about how he's been intimidating them with his work pistol as well, or should I just come up with a flimsy excuse to decline their request to visit me during this festive period for peace's sake? As long as they're the ones visiting your house(and not the other way round) with the consent of any of their parent, i don't see any big issue there. |

Everything was tabulated together with his gratuity.
According to him,he said, they will divide the money by four,he would be paid two portions out of it,one portion would be paid to him this year, and the second portion would be paid next year, while the remaining two would be coming on a monthly basis as his monthly pension. U can imagine. Nawaoo. Ok |

ibechris: Many pensioners would cry even God is aware of what I am saying. The head of admin in my office retired at level 14 in federal ministry this April, and he was paid about 15.8million which includes pension and gratuity.
When he showed me some of the details of everything,I was shocked even after 34yrs. I couldn't believe it.
I started asking him, what of ur gratuity?,he said see am now?...about 3.8million lumped together with the pension.
It was horrible.. and some people are still expecting to be retired just like him too?
E no easy for Aboki.
Because of the above scenario, i have decided to resign as this can not be my portion. Was he paid all his pension at the point of retirement? Shouldn't the pension be paid monthly? |

Family › Re: What Do You Remember About December And Christmas. by ChybuzzDD(m): 6:03am On Dec 07, 2025 |
SyrusdeHansome: As a 1990s guy, I remember that the most exciting time of the year was always December. Once the year got to December, everything changed. There would be harmattan, the sounds of knockouts and fireworks in the air, and families travelling to their villages from the cities— even overseas families weren’t left out. Cultural displays were everywhere.
I remember how the village children would look at us and treat us like we were some kind of angelic beings with great privileges. In fact, Christmas was never truly Christmas unless it was spent in the village. Life was simple, and there was unity and trust among family members.
I can’t forget those early days when we didn’t have a borehole in our family house, and we had to wake up very early in the morning to fetch water from the village stream. Because of the harmattan cold, none of us—my siblings and I—dared to enter the stream. Thank God for Ukeme, my grandmother’s house help.
I also can’t forget the village football tournaments, the love, and the moments we shared. Everything changed when our grandparents passed, and till today, nobody cares about spending Christmas in the village anymore. I’m now a man, and I know the younger ones will never have those kinds of experiences. Please share yours let's reminisce. You're right in your observations, except the emboldened lines When you say nobody cares about spending Christmas in the village anymore, are you referring to only your family members or to all Nigerians? I'm aware that bad economy and insecurity have reduced the hitherto Christmas travels to a reasonable extent, but a lot still embark on it, especially in the Southeast, and the celebrations proper haven't changed much in the villages. |

Don't be like zombies who were first deceived with N50 milo by late Bubu only to again be deceived with agbadeau by Pa Amoda Learn to think beyond tribal supremacy It's one thing to have insecurity and another thing to fight it. Tilumbu is not fighting it because he doesn't want to annoy his fuulani allies Obi, being Igbo, would have fought it with everything he has, same way Ihejirika fought Boko haram then.
