i really appreciate siena. it has actually been connected. the location of this transimitter was actually at RHS pillar by the back door. the programmer will try again on monday as there is election tomorrow and they will be no movement. i will keep you posted.

EEL visited as promised,however the car did not still accept the remote. I later took the car to an autoworkshop and it was discovered that the car did not have door control reciever. Went to scrap yard and got one
@sienna. The part number on the item is 89741-06020. Can u confirm if this is what could have caused our inability to programme the remote.

@sultaan. Thank you for your concern however, I did not say that I bought a brand new car. The car was sold to me on as is basis. I bought an after market keyremote cos it had only one the normal key.I have attached a photograph of the key remote I bought.

I recently bought a 2010 camry CE. When I dicovered that it didn't come with a keyless remote I ordered for too. Now the car is here and all effort to programme the remote has failed and comes with the error ECU DISCONNECTED each time they try to programm it. Amazingly the car has accepted the Key that is attached to the remote.
I need help urgently from the house.

Yes sir I bought the key brand new from amazon.com. If it is a wrong frequency, what options are available. Someone mentioned something about transmitter/reciever. Don't know how true that may be.

hi siena, pardon me for invading your thread. Please i recently bought a 2010 toyota camry CE model and also bought the keyless remote there. when the car arrived and they successfully programmed the key however the each time they try to programme the remote it will come up with the error massage "ECU DISCONNECTED" . please i need help on what i need to do or buy to be able to programme the remote control.

i am not sure i agree with you that advertised vehicle is a 2007 as the back light is 2004-2005 and it also has a 3.3l engine as against the 3.5l. kindly post VIN

pls dont spoil my market,the keys where not in the office, that day i had to show a customer the picture which was urgent, when i got to the car dealers office,the person with the key had gone out to deliver a vehicle to a customer and forgot to leave the key behind,
