SOME NIGERIAN UNIVERSITIES WILL NO LONGER OFFER LAW AND ACCOUNTING BECAUSE THEY HAVE DERAILED FROM THEIR CORE AND MANDATED PURPOSE. The Federal Government has directed some of universities to stop running programmes that are outside their mandates. The Federal Government of Nigeria has looked into the academic sector by forbidding some varsities to stop offering major courses they are not at liberty to run while they warned some of them to stop changing the nomenclature of some courses. In truth, some courses have been twisted to suit the need of the school and the administrators. Courses like banking engineering have been introduced into the portal of some Nigerian universities. Schools now offer courses that are not within their mandates. Most of the varsities affected are specialised schools that offer law and accounting. These are major courses that should not be listed in the portal of schools that seek to fulfill the need of manpower in certain sectors of the economy. THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA TO ESTABLISH AVIATION UNIVERSITY WITH THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT AND PRODUCTION OF HIGH LEVEL MANPOWER. According to the Nigerian Aviation Minister, Capt. Hadi Sirika, who revealed the plan on Saturday after a familiarization tour of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT) in Zaria, Kaduna State, said the aviation university will be different from NCAT. “The university will be fully into research and development and production of higher level management manpower need of the industry. “Since the technology is available around the world, is no longer a hindrance, it is our own ability and capability to pursue it,” he noted. While sighting example of countries like Brazil and India, who produce aircraft, the minister observed that “if such countries could do it, why not Nigeria”. “The technology is known, we are not reinventing it, we just put our act together in doing it. So, the university will cater for that, while NCAT will continue to provide the services in the institute,” he said. We hope this wont just be another news that does not see the light of the day. Have you ever sent money into a wrong account number due to one mix up or the other. It is pretty frustrating and disappointing when such happens, I can tell because I have actually been there and it is not an experience I am wishing any body. Most of the time, victims of such circumstances get their money back while others don't get to see their money ever again, this could be due to the poor transaction tracking of the bank where the incident happened or it could be due to some other reasons. Either way, there is a good news and the good news is that, A Nigerian just developed an android app that helps you verify your bank account number or account details from another account holder. The app works with all Nigerian Banks and it is easy to use. TO READ MORE AND DOWNLOAD THE APP, CLICK HERE: http://betabaze..com.ng/2016/08/how-to-verify-owner-of-bank-account.html |

These steps will help you move ahead BETTER AND STRONGER after a heartbreak 1). Cut off ties with your ex: When you two broke up, it likely happened for a reason. Not contacting your ex is an important step in healing from a breakup. You may feel desperate to contact your ex, especially in the beginning, but remind yourself of the reasons you broke up. Stay strong and stay away from that phone! Romantic love stimulates dopamine pathways in the brain, making you feel “rewarded” for your emotions. When you break up, your brain treats it the same way as it treats a drug addiction. No matter how hard it feels, don’t give in to the craving, or you’ll never kick it. Don’t call or text your ex. If you need to, delete his or her number from your phone and contacts. Don’t email or send messages on social media. Cyberstalking is a real thing. Don’t look up your ex on Facebook or Instagram. You’ll only concentrate on the pictures of him or her being happy and having a good time. You’ll keep looking for clues and memories, keeping you from feeling better. If you have to, block your ex on your pages so you’re not tempted. Don’t “vaguebook” (post vague statuses on social media) in a bid for attention. Focusing on the past will only keep you from moving toward your future. 2). Get rid of mementos: Holding on to treasured gifts from your ex or photos of the two of you will hold you back from healing and moving on. You may even find that having them around triggers feelings of sadness, loneliness, or anger. Delete photos of your ex from social media accounts (or at least crop him or her out of the photos). Resist the urge to do things that you used to do together, like listen to “your song” or visit your favorite date spot. These things will keep you focused on the relationship you don’t have anymore, instead of allowing you to go out and form new relationships (and strengthen existing ones). Memories aren’t always triggered by things. Even sounds and scents can trigger a memory or emotion. If this happens, don’t try to ignore or deny it. Acknowledge the feeling: “Oh, that smell reminds me of our pizza date nights. I miss those.” And then move on. If you have things that seem too nice to throw out, consider donating them to a charity or thrift store. You’ll be able to let go of that t-shirt/coffee mug/teddy bear, and you’ll be making a positive difference in someone else’s life, too. 3). . Play nice: It’s too easy to go out and slash your ex’s tires, key his or her car, or egg his or her house. American company FoldiMate has unveiled a three-foot-high robot that will take in crumpled shirts, tops and trousers and spew out neatly folded and steamed garments. The machine, expected to cost between $700 and $850 (£490-£600) has a row of trays, each one of which a piece of clothing can be clipped on to. Once pulled inside the machine, the FoldiMate senses the type of garment and a series of robot arms is used to fold it into place. READ AND VIEW MORE PIX AND WATCH VIDEO HERE : http:///OelpZW
