Gee, this thread needs some serious clean up.

I have a suggestion.

Today I saw Airforce1's jam on FP and I loved it. Going through the thread I heard some other guys
jam too and they were all niiiice and it got me thinking if there could be something like a 'Nairaland song of the Week'. That is, people submit their songs and votes are counted or/and a 'jury' decides which song is the NL song of the week. Other rules guiding the process could be put in place.

The song of the week gets to hit FP (say every weekend?)probably with a brief bio of the act and picture art. The thread will bear the title 'Nairaland song of the week.'

I feel it'll encourage more acts to put up their stuff on NL and for those that make FP they'll share it with friends which could drive some traffic here. Win, win.

plus, its good for the section.

i know it'll involve some work but i had to get the idea off my chest.

But dude..... NL has come of age n it has to Expand ....... I still dont get why there aint a NL music site.........

But FL has more advantage in terms of the Beginners-level
