Hi, I would advise not to defer your admission. Write to the school about starting your fall courses online while you wait for your visa. I know UofC gave international students this option due to the visa delay issues. University of Ottawa might do the same as most Universities tend to do same things. When you get a response, do a webform to IRCC about your application exceeding the processing time and the importanceof your studies; also the fact that you will lose money, your admission and time if you don't get a feedback by 20th of September. SaniceSanice123: Good evening. Please I have a serious problem.
My school is starting 7th of September, so I emailed my school on deference, they replied that they don’t defer that I will have to reapply which is not certain if they will give me admission for fall 2023. They also said they don’t take winter admission cos it’s close for 2023.
Please I’m confused, I applied for visa in July and it’s looking like I may not get decision by September, I intend applying to schools that allow January intake because my school university of Ottawa has closed winter intake but I don’t know if it will affect my visa application. And how do I go about this, please I need help
NB: I used university of Ottawa for my visa application and they want to withdraw my admission before September 20. What if IRCC gives me visa but I don’t have any school to go to then, what would happen? What’s the solution? Please help |

Hi Enddystar, there's no standard way so you can attach the necessary documents showing the property is yours. Then, also explain further in your LOE. (You can add a picture of you and your family in the property, if you like - not necessary, though) You can also wait for others to respond. Enddystar: please I need assistance on this. Help a brother. Tnx |

Hi, you can call one of the banks. An account can be opened from Nigeria but you will have to verify the account when you arrive in Canada by visiting the branch. You won't be able to make withdrawals, though. Since you are yet to get a visa but you have the award from the school, you can call the bank directly to confirm before sending your school an email. Sending an email doesn't make you naive but it will be better if you check the banks before doing so. Congratulations on your award. Wish you the best. @chuksinfotech gave a good solution. olutoyiin: Please house, my school sent my international tuition award yesterday and I was asked to claim it through my direct deposit banking details. For those who has gotten such award, did you open a bank account from Nigeria to claim it or waited till resumption? They said if I don't claim it, it will be deposited back to my tuition account as credit toward future study.
I'm not sure about the deadline for this claims and I don't want to come off as naive by emailing the school.
Pls any advise would be appreciated.
P. S My eligibility is yet to start but I'm less worried since my school has suggested I resume online and I've been approved to give online TA classes. It will end in praise |

Thank you very much Enddystar: You can generate payment slip using Western Union Business Solution. I used that pay for mine (though not the same school)
About the 3days validity, it will still go through after the 3days given. Just make sure you apply within the 3days and let the bank start the processing.
For reference number, the bank will capture it during payment.
Apply on CBN trade portal, choose your preferred bank and upload relevant documents.

Hi, Please a family friend just got admission in Conestoga and needs to pay the tuition deposit. Please, for those that have used form A, did you generate the payment details using the Western Union pay; was that what you used for the form A? If yes, where do they need to specify the reference number given as there is provision for reference number on the firm A? Then, Western Union indicated that transaction has to be made within 3 days; so I don't know how that will be possible with form A. In summary, please how did you go about paying with form A? |

Thank you for responding. I can't seem to get across to KLM, though. WarriBrandChic: No it's not required if you are fully vaccinated. Most countries/organisations have relaxed their covid protocol but you can check with your airline. |

Hi Feisty, Did you do a covid test before boarding your flight, from Nigeria? Welcome to Canada, Feisty and WarriBrandChic (forgot to mention earlier) feistymikey: LANDING GIST PArt 2 I got to Germany around 6am, my next flight to Toronto was around 9:30 am, so I checked the screen for the exact gate I’ll board my flight cause it wasn’t really stated on my boarding pass. During this process, I met two Nigerians, a young guy like me who was also going to my school in London Ontario, and an Old man who was trying to find his way. So we decided to move together |
