PeterObash: Even though people collect their PVC to vote, it doesn't still stop terrorism,I repeat again,it doesn't stop terrorism, Goodluck Jonathan was voted out yet terrorism became so terrible. Even you vote out Tinubu tomorrow there will be complains of terror and same you will say get PVC let's vote them out again, my question is, For how long? As a Nigerian our best bet is first 1. stop negotiations with them completely, 2. strengthen community policing, 3. ban open grazing because they could be spies to this terrorist,4. Ban Okada riding as public transport in communities 5. Any non community ingenious person should be made to register for profiling at the local government. And lots more, watch and see how things turn around for good. Right from inception the northern political elite created this, El-rufai threatened to make this government unbearable just like they did to Goodluck Jonathan, so will you blame this government for insecurity, the northern elites uses this terror to hold on power n to have control, because they are afraid that Nigeria could be divided. So the problem is from the Northern political elite, DSS should track n expose them one after the other, that's just the best thing to do. all these things you mentioned is it us the citizens that will enforce them or the government? No serious government will allow this level of insecurity to keep happening in a country, how can a government be releasing "repentant" terrorist in their thousands back into the society? Even Islamic countries don't even try that nonsense, we've been voting failures and the best thing is to keep voting them out until we get it right, Nigeria's insecurity is not as bad as we think we just have a terrible government that have been compromised! |

Did the people of Benue and other states tell you that farming equipment is their main issue right now? Will that equipment save you when Fulani militias or Boko Haram attack? |

She said her lawyer told her $200k and anther undisclosed sum as compensation was promised her through her lawyer. But the lawyer played her. She should drop proof of her lawyer giving her such deal, even the call recording she released had nothing of such, no exact money was promised to her. |

cr7lomo: Is 25 million in 2014 same with today ... if u borrow 25million from back 12 years ago, na 25million u go pay today?? ... 25million naira in 2014 was about 160k dollars in 2014 You don't get the point, this woman in question has literally no proof about anything, if they went to court she would have lost woefully, the lawyer just tried to get her a deal so she could at least get back some money, how do you do a project worth 25million without any official documents? The court works with proof and she had none |

Stop saying what you don't know, no exact amount was promised, they only said they were going to give her some money if she retracted her statement.. is $70k not more than the Soo called 25million naira job she claimed she did for the man? The woman is just being greedy |

In America people are slaughtered daily by guns.
Trump doesn't attend their funerals or show interest. But if it was his child, of course he would. This is a silly comparison , So you think if 100 Americans were kidnapped in any state in U.S Trump will go about attending useless events in other states? By now there would have been a state of emergency in the affected state if something like that happened in US, you all are used to politicians that don't care about you and that's why you think every other country is like that |

LegendHero: Even for one child, you can’t afford it.
When UNIBEN tuition was 11k for academic session, how much was the acceptance fee then? How much was minimum wage then?
Let’s compare. I am waiting.
Because if minimum wage was 8k then, and you have house rent to pay, food to buy at home, things to buy at home, how in the world would you be able to afford 11k + acceptance fee + upkeep fees out of pocket for one child? As at then acceptance was at most 21k, which is paid just once, and minimum wage was 18k not 8k... food and house rent was also very cheap, 5k could easily take someone for a month with good management.. hostels 10k for a year...and hope you know a woman selling Akara at a good location back then could easily make up to 1k profit every day? That's 30k monthly, so why wouldn't they be able to send a child to a university without a loan? |
Education › Re: I Can Call Myself A Graduate Today Because Of NELFUND - Graduate by classicfrank4u(m): 9:15pm On Jan 20 |
LegendHero: That is a lie. There was no point when people selling Akara are able to afford university education easily with all the upkeep for their kids without borrowing loans or other external sources.
Even teachers cannot afford it easily to send their kids to universities without taking loan. I’m from a civil servant family and I understand what I am saying.
Shey na when dem dey pay 8k minimum wage, na em you no go borrow money to pay OAU school fees even considering the fact that you have other expenses and etc. let alone akara seller Read my comment well I placed emphasis on a child, if you were paying fees for more than one child then you'd definitely be needing a loan, but the fact is fees in public schools were really affordable, there was a time uniben's tuition was 11k for an academic session, so yes, even a woman selling Akara who has been saving can easily pay that! |
Education › Re: I Can Call Myself A Graduate Today Because Of NELFUND - Graduate by classicfrank4u(m): 8:50pm On Jan 20 |
LegendHero: Why are Peter Obi supporters crying because of this?
If I don’t have money to attend university and I see someone borrow me money free of interest and told me to repay him bit by bit after I get a job. Is that not worthy enough to thank them?
Would you rather I remain uneducated and unexposed? Few years ago even a woman selling Akara could easily send her child to a federal university because it was very affordable , now people have to take loans from government to attend same federal university and you guys are seeing that as an achievement? |

No pictures of anything else So it is the US that will leave their military base far away to come to Nigeria to take pictures of the airstrike? Isn't that supposed to be the job of our military? |
