Please can anyone confirm the authenticity of the customs clearance offered by couvaninigLtd, oliverjiad, femmy2010 (dudzmobility) and the other clearing agents on this post? Can anyone vouch for these guys.
I have received clearing costs from all of them and want to be sure the clearing is genuine before working with them.
I have to drive the car back to Port Harcourt and do not want any issues with Custom Officers on the road. I have heard that people's cars have been siezed in neighbouring states due to non-genuine clearance.
Please your help will be appreciated since the car is due to arrive at tin-can on Sunday via Grimaldi

I really hate to do this but mr oliverjihad as taken me as a fool for the past three weeks...i contacted him over a year ago for quotes on clearing my truck (he sounded honest to me so i decided to stick with him..which i ended up regreting),my truck got to lagos on the 30th of july,i meet with him on the 31st which was a friday(he claimed he could clear the truck on that friday and requested i came to tin can,on getting there he later told me that nothing could be done till on monday,but he will be starting the process on that same friday and that i should make the payment to his account which i did...

We have just concluded a job together which I won't exactly call pleasant because I ended up paying way more than you quoted including several days of demurage charges and also have to get my staffs chasing you around with calls
As for this accusation, I saw the picture of the truck on your thread with cleared and delivered and the missing tyre is there as well so how did that happen when customers consignment is in your care already??

Our people will get away with what they can get a way with. If you even buy all the necessary part, who is to say that your mechanic will not "manage" a part under there and sell the good part you bought? Anything can happen. this is Naija afterall

And don't get into the dreaded possible electrical issues that might arise when not done properly.

You can look into heavy duty trucks. Those can be sold with lesser stress
