Politics › Re: Why Are Ijaw/SE So Fixated On Who APC Chooses As Their Presidential Candidate by Clerverly(op): 8:41pm On Dec 31, 2013
payless: The answer to your question is that; the PDP dogs are jittery of whoever APC fields. They have been chasing shadow in the last two years. They were busy insulting and making up stories about Buhari but now, it is clear that Buhari won't be the nominee so they have shifted their vitriol on someone else in Tambuwal. The PDP dogs are currently in confusion and disarray. They haven't recovered from the defection of the G5 after daring them to defect. As you and I know it, it was Akpabio who dared the G7 to decamp. To the surprise of Nigerians, G5 out of G7 decamped to APC 48-hours later and the rest is history. Two weeks after the G5 moved to APC, some PDP legislators moved to APC and more are on their way. Ever since the defection, they have intensified their reconciliation effort to bring back the warring PDP faction to no avail. Now, they have suggested to Otuoke fvctard to send Bamnga Tukur into exile or as an ambassador to Afghanistan. They are so confused that some PDP dogs suggested that GEJ should bring Yerima (rapi.st) on board as Vice President. This shows the level of confusion and desperation.

As we know it, PDP dogs have been making threats and continue to beat the drum of ethnic and religious discord. They have been working 24hrs/day, posting a despicable articles on social media. Their time has finally come when their coffin is finally nailed.

Now, the desperation is mounting. I expect the desperation to mount higher by the time PDP finally become a regional party. Then, PDP will be big enough for Akpabio ego.
I cant put it more succinctly!

NnamdiN: Why are you APC rats scared of GEJ running?
Why not allow him to re-contest if you're so sure your APC would defeat him in 2015?

GEJ won't campaign much in 2015. His works would do that for him cool
nobody is stopping him from contesting, he is already the presidential candidate of the regional party PDP.

Politics › Why Are Ijaw/SE So Fixated On Who APC Chooses As Their Presidential Candidate by Clerverly(op):
I say Ijaw and South East because that are the areas Jonathan still have a shred of support in his inordinate ambition to continue in wrecking the ship called Nigeria in spite of the massive corruption and insecurity plaguing his government.

Gospel According To PDP e rats:

First they said, it would be a walk over for their Jonathan if APC presents Buhari because he is a Islamic fundamentalist , that why cant APC try a younger persongrin ;

Then Kwankwanso was mooted, they labelled him a Northern oligarchy who their Jonathan who trounce if he ventures out grin

Then, now Tambuwal is mentioned, they have gone to Town with cries inside their heart while issuing consolation words to one another, that their Jonathan would trash him because he was imported from PDP with no electoral Values grin grin

So My Question Are These:

why are they drinking panadol for APC's Headache??
Is their love for APC that much??
Why not allow the party choose their candidate and "damn" the consequence??
When have they suddenly become special advisers for APC without appointment??

Then My Deductions are;
1. That the regional party PDP, are scared and worried by the voters puller APC is about to unleash lipsrsealed
2. That they want APC to present a weaklier who their Jonadunce may have a chance
3. That they want to position early to rubbish whoever APC presents in minds of Nigeria which they have failed already because other regions wont buy that (That sums the reason you will find only Igbo and Ijaws defending Jonathan online)
4. Since they have failed with tribal politics to sway the middle belt, they now resorted to Religion to achieve the same, thats why you see them coming up Muslim/Muslim rubbish.

The Bitter Truth;
1. No amount of calumny would sway people's mind in favour of PDP, because they have seen enough for the past 14 years.
2. Nigerians are determined to come out in 2015 and choose their leader.
3. It will be difficult if not near impossible for PDP to rig 2015 election because of the maxim "You only rig election where you are popular" that means Jonathan would have his actual votes in Rivers, Lagos and Kano in 2015 while doing statistical harakri in the smaller south east states.
4. Winning election is by number and APC have it presently.
5. The North is determined to have their mandate back which was short-lived by the death of Yardua and Jonathan presented them with golden opportunity by simply not achieving anything for the past 4years he has been on the saddle.
6 . The political barometer does not just favour Jonathan because of the way his "Pillar of support" branded and tagged other ethnic groups parasites and terrorists. So they need to make a statement cheesy
7. Unlike in 2011 when he came up with I had No Shoes Mantra, Nigerians have bought him shoes and ready to send him to Otuoke for celebration.

In conclusion Nigerians needs Change and Jonathan as it is presently, is unelectable. The earlier the sycophants come to term with it, the better for Jonathan.

I assure you that our administration remains fully committed to the progressive development of our country and the consolidation of peace, unity and democratic governance in our fatherland. I assure you that our administration remains fully committed to the progressive underdevelopment of our country and the consolidation of acrimony, disunity and undemocratic governance in our fatherland. Politics › Apc's New Year Message To Nigerians: Change Is Imminent! - By: Lai Mohammed by Clerverly(op): 12:17pm On Dec 31, 2013
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has assured Nigerians that the party is ready, willing and determined to make all the necessary sacrifices to reverse the prevailing gloomy situation in the country and bring about the much-needed change for the better in the interest of the long-suffering citizens.

In a statement issued in Lagos on Tuesday by its Interim National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party said Nigerians should go into the New Year with an unyielding commitment to be part of ongoing efforts to set the country on the path of growth and development, rather than get into a state of funk on the basis of the cumulative mis-governance of the past 14 years by the PDP-led Federal Government.

''While wishing all Nigerians a great 2014, we hereby solicit their unalloyed support for our efforts to reshape the country's political landscape, shake off the heavy yoke imposed on them by their selfish, self-serving and clueless leaders and make the country a source of pride not only to its citizens but to all black people in the world,'' it said.

APC said the first step in what will be a tough but final battle to rescue Nigeria from the clutches of rapacious leaders will be to bring the citizenry on board the train of change that is barrelling through the country, and to ensure that elections in the country are free, fair and credible.

''As we wrote in the preamble to our manifesto, 'democracy, to be stable and meaningful, must be anchored on the principle that government derives its powers from the consent of the governed....This means that governments are instituted on the basis of free, fair and credible elections, and are maintained through responsiveness to public opinion.

'''In addition, the exercise of political authority is rooted in the rule of law. APC believes in the doctrine of social contract between the leaders and the led; which means that the public office holder is a trustee of the people and that power must be used in the interest of the people rather than in the interest of the public office holder','' the party said.

It said in order to ensure that as many Nigerians as possible are brought aboard the APC train of change, the party will kick-start its membership registration drive early in the year, targeting in particular the youth who are indispensable in any effort to bring about change.

''We ask all those who are yearning for genuine change to seize the moment and embrace the engine of change, which the APC represents! Our compatriots who have lost faith in our dear country because of inefficient and corrupt leadership can count on us, because we represent committed, transparent and focused leadership,'' APC said.

The party pledged to halt the country's drift towards a failed state with a conscious plan for a post-oil economy in Nigeria, details of which will be outlined in the weeks and months ahead; and to make the welfare and security of the citizenry, which is the raison d'etre of any government, its top priority;

APC said that in order to extricate Nigeria from the dire straits in which it has been plunged by the successive PDP governments, the party has decided to make as its priority the War Against Corruption; Food security; Accelerated Power Supply; Integrated Transport Network; Free Education; Devolution of Power; Accelerated Economic Growth and Affordable Health Care.

''We know skeptics will sneer at these and deride them as mere sloganeering. After all, Nigerians have been taken for a ride for the past 14 years by those who have mistaken transmogrification for transformation, and those who have relentless pursued power for the sake of power, rather than to use it to harness the country's abundant human resources.

''But most things look impossible until they have been achieved, and the impressive record of performance in the states under our control, from Kano to Imo states and from Lagos to Edo, testifies to our ability, determination and willingness to make things happen for the benefit of our people,'' the party said.

Meanwhile, the party has said the year 2013 is among the worst, if not the worst, for the citizenry, who have been pauperized and dehumanized by a government that keeps touting favourable economic statistics in the face of an unprecedented fall in the standard of living of its people.

''They say President Jonathan's achievement in 2013 is unprecedented, yet Nigerians celebrated the Christmas and New Year holidays in unprecedented pitch darkness and an unprecedented number of our youths are unemployed; They say they are winning the war against corruption, yet key government officials, including the so-called Coordinating Minister of the Economy, do not even know how much Nigeria earns from crude oil and gas sales, and what happened to 12 billion dollars earned from domestic crude lifting; They are so eager to cling to any straw of 'achievement' that they are celebrating the revival of the locomotive engine in the 21st century!

''Such is their insensitivity and total lack of compassion for human beings that the Jonathan administration will rather spend the nation's scarce resources on importing animals for the villa zoo and on purchasing presidential jets that they do not need.

''Because this government has become numb to reason, because this government has deteriorated from cluelessness to hopelessness and because this government has totally lost any sense of direction, we say it is time for Nigerians to gird their loins and join hands with all those who are seeking genuine change. To adapt Mahatma Gandhi's timeless quote, Nigerians must be the change they wish to see in their country, and the year 2014 must be our Year of Change!'' APC said.

Ngwakwe: Can you be coherent in your submission for once.

You said the North wants power by all means and that their Politicians and people are falling in line to avoid being caught napping - out of will or fear by your assessment (this is pure retrogressive clannish politics which your obsession failed to notice because of your selfish interest).

On the other hand you accused the South of clannish politics which you couldn't substantiate, you as a person is out of tune with your political base and invariably since every politics is local you harbour animosity and anger while making political commentaries.

I advice you to put on your thinking cap and be objective for once if not balance with your views.

Must the South reject GEJ in totality to satisfy your selfish ends, why not take a deep breath and allow them to be the masters of their own destiny without your 'I too know theory'.

Gosh.
I know it would sound incoherent, when you and your likes have created more enemies for the retardeen than friends with your hate/ethnic campaign in Anambra State. If you dont know, Jonathan and the handlers started the ethnic/religious campaign, and other regions have taken notice and applying the same as a revenge. So enjoy the meal and stop whining cool
Politics › Re: Open Letter: Ribadu Supports Obasanjo by Clerverly: 11:45am On Dec 29, 2013
Ngwakwe: The scales will fall off your eyes after APC States and National Congresses are held.

I remember so many Governors, Senators, HORs and Chieftains who lost out in party primaries, defected to another party and realised their ambitions eg. Mimiko, Ohakim even Ngige.

The promise of automatic ticket to defecting PDP members will surely hit a dead end when their counterparts in APC compete for the same seats then most of them will move back or decamp to PDP
Is that what the topic is saying? One thing at a time! This is coming from the same Ribadu, you told us yesterday according your impeccable source was being groomed as a running mate to Jonathan in 2015. One thing you people dont want to agree is that, The North is very firm in getting the power back and anybody that sabotages it, would be treated as a traitor. Most of the Northern governors that are about to defect to APC, are doing that out of fear of the political hurricane that would sweep across Nothern states in 2015. No one wants to be caught napping. The south West that GEJ would have used as a cover to hit them, is long gone because of the very clannish/ crude political strategies of the handlers.
