Now what the exact order is for the defendant (CJN) to step aside/resign. Not for Buhari to sack/suspend/remove him becuase the CCT knows clearly that Buhari has no such powers.

2Earlier in the day, a higher court, the court of Appeal had suspended the trial of the CJN by the CCT. What this means is that the sitting in question that produced the above said order was illegal and unconstitutional. So whatever comes off that meeting is null and void.

Buhari has no power to remove, suspend, sack the CJN. The constitution has clearly stated procedure for removing or sacking a CJN and it involves a recommendation from the NJC and/or approval from one third of the Senate.

There is clear separation of powers in the constitution. The executive can never unilaterally sack the Judiciary arm of government. The constitution is very clear on that. What Buhari did is purely illegal and should be condemned by all well meaning Nigerians.

This to me is the dead blow Buhari has given to PDP and they seem so shaken. His earlier mistake of allowing Atiku hijack the Senate through Saraki was the weapon used in slowing his government and frustrating positive policies. With this we now know the judiciary was comprised all along

Like I said in previous threads, no lawyer whether Buhari Govt or close to it, has nor would ever support the clear assault to constitutionality and the judiciary as Buhari has clearly done.

Go through all the reactions so far by lawyer and you find no lawyer supporting this(except the musings of Sagay who was very half hearted in his response). No lawyer in this Govt not even the VP or Keyamo will do so. They know they implication .

We are not interested in this cos of partisan politics but what it portake for the judiciary and democracy.

Let Buhari follow the due process: send a petition to the NJC and the NJC shouldinvestigate and deliberate whilst the CJN recluse himself. The finding from such investigation should then be forwarded to the Senate for a decision to be made. Only then can the President remove him from office.

Any other path is an illegality which is null as it is utterly false.

These skinny guys are with excess guts. The single most important quality of a leader is guts or courage not even wisdom as he can easily tamp other people brain but not their guts.

GEJ was a complete coward that's why he could not rig the 2015 election and conceded defeat like a chicken.

Buhari will probably not only rig 2019 but may be thinking of life presidency

with his excess guts all that is required is to forcefully change the Constitution and impose it on Nigerians who can only rant in social media for one week and go on with their lives.
