Nairalanders I need comfort from you all at this moment. I mean my girlfriend who I am older than with over 5 years just washed hell fire out of my body with insults upon insults just because I am broke at the moment. It all started cos I refused to do yahoo again, upon all her insistence for almost a year now. I did yahoo in the past and I cashed out massively I flexed this girl heavily even took her shopping and spent over 200k on her shopping and have even paid her rent in school and constantly sent :-her 20k monthly. Now that the money got dried up she turned to tiger and want to scatter my mental health. As I am right now I just need a warm hug from someone to help me feel better. Please I need encouragement from you all, both male and female I just need someone to tell me I am doing the right thing avoiding yahoo and instead trying to start legit although it is not easy. Due to her pressure sometimes I am tempted to pick up boot again and restart but I have vowed never to do it again after I saw the way it almost destroyed my last maga . She almost became homeless na her papa help her clear debts. My heart is heavy right now.

To start with, if i’m to judge by what you wrote…I hope you know this girl doesn’t love and will only love you so long as money is flowing. You DO NOT need such woman in your life. She has no value! I’d only treat a man I do not not value or love in the manner in which she treated you. Women ride or die for men they LOVE.

You should be thankful for this setback, at least if you’re smart and emotionally sound, you’d know she’s not the one for you. That doesn’t mean she’s a bad person though, she’d meet someone she loves.. someone probably VERY BROKE and you’ll see she stayed and supported such man.
Don’t listen to the complaints she made about you to your mutual friend, those are mere excuses to justify her actions.

The wife and daughter proceeded to church for vigil and leave their breadwinner in that state writhing in pain and wounds allover his body. The bikeman was surprised by the wife and daughter's attitude that he confessed if he hadn't known the family he would have doubted if the woman and daughter are truly the man's wife and child respectively. The Okada man took the man to a clinic, have him treated and drop him at the friend's place to stay for the night. The wife and daughter did not even come back from the vigil till the night of the following day. I interpret the wife's attitude to be: "I don't care if he dies"

Hmmm. Do you know how he treats his family behind closed doors? Do you know if the woman is a victim of domestic abuse?

Yesterday I went to visit my Aunty and met her crying. A single woman teaching in private school whose salary is less than N25,000/month.

She was seriously crying and lamenting over the state of the economy, as regard hardship and inflation.

She complained of not able to afford any of the rice, beans, potato, plantain, Garri etc etc. None at all due to price hike.

Even potato. Who bought it last? Go and confirm and see the quantity sold for N1,000

So practically it's death for her if she is still living and cannot afford all the above basics. That is just one of the hundred of millions of cases across the country including my very self.

I guess protest would draw the attention of the government to the issue since normal online ranting didn't.

I have a fiance that I have already proposed to and we are planning on getting married this September. But I noticed that she won't let me touch her before marriage which I think she was just trying to maintain her standard. I also noticed that she doesn't like coming to my place to help me do anything. As a matter of fact, she has never helped me do anything in my house. She has never cooked for me in my house, she has never helped me clean the house, she has never washed my clothes etc. Rather, she stormed my house one very early morning and woke me up just to drag me that I have not been spending money the way she wants on her. I was pissed off and told her that she too has not been satisfied any of my expectations to determine whether she's a marriageable type. She kept quiet and gave me incognito mode for a whole month only for her to return back this time around to resume her attitude of demanding. My last born brother however has been living with me and does all those works for me and doesn't give me stress at all. Instead, she's insisting that when we get married she doesn't want him around in my house. I also noticed that she's doesn't want people around me. She wants herself alone to handle anyone she finds in my life like my family members, friends etc. I tested her one day by asking her for 1k to pay for sth urgent and she quickly knocked it off and diverted topic. I lost my job since last year August and has been doing tailoring job to survive and she's very much aware. Now, I notice that anytime she comes to my house, she comes with lists of demands she writes on paper I must do for her. Sometimes I might work late into the night just to meet my financial target and that's exactly when she wants to see me. And if I take longer time that night to see her, she gets angry and when I still see her that night, it's always fresh sets of demands.

My mind has been telling me a lot of things. But am confused whether it's just me thinking out of point or something else or am blind. I have made commitments towards settling down with her and have even seen her people. I don't know what to do especially on the fact that my people have given me ultimatum that I must marry a woman this year.

All these red flags and you still want advice? Okay..marry her!
