advanceDNA: Lie lie pple, trying to form oblivious & victim Lie lie UK govt laughing at them and cashing out on the whole matter
The UKVI/Home office is deliberately aiding these scams by approving care home license to any tom díck and harry that pay for it.....
because they know they will pack in desperate third world country citizens that will increase govt revenue through visa application, immigration skills charge, and Cos charge .....
In 2022, there was an agent that brought in over 100 Nigerians with no job....up till now his license has not been revoked..
Most of these nigerians take the "no job" deals with their two eyes opened just to leave Nigeria hoping that they would get better job sponsors when they land.... They will now come here pretend they never knew...
Nigerians that will say anything including using their children to lie just to get govt sympathy for asylum....
When you mentioned 'lies', another thought came yo mind. Why did the guy not mention the 'scammer's name or company? By hiding it, if true, he is aiding the scammer to scan more people
MadPolitician: Nigeria should go ahead and reciprocate by banning imports from America. There is nothing they buy from us anyways . They used to buy oil from Nigeria, but that has stopped around the days of NADECO. There is nothing we import from the US that we can not import at a cheaper rate from asia. So let the trade war start. We are already down, so why fear further falls?
Sheuns: Government hospitals in Lagos will try to stabilize the patient in the emergency ward first and ask the family member to go do documentation.
If this is true, then the hospital suggested a better option for them due to their financial situation. The question should be, did this man leave immediately to the government hospital or he was hoping the private hospital will change their mind, thereby delaying his wife the opportunity for emergency care in the government hospital?
pocohantas: I saw the news somewhere else and was surprised at the mortuary looking hospital that requested 500k deposit. To do what exactly?
I thought they passed a law against this deposit before attending to emergencies?
Pregnancy can go either way in seconds. One has to be very alert and close to a trusted hospital.
True!
Though we did not witness the situation, it can be deduced from his story that he didn't leave IMMEDIATELY to the government hospital he was referred to, being an emergency.
The Nigerian nature might have even delayed their arrival to the referred government hospital. For example-
begging the private hospitalto commence treatment (time will be going),
making phone calls (more time going),
waiting for a cab (if they didn't have one already waiting),
Kobojunkie: Pregnancy is a 9-month gig during which those who are intentional would have not only prepared themselves for that final emergency to come but also done all necessary to ensure they are prepared as far as the bill to come.
This here is a sad story indeed, but I can't really fault the hospital for choosing to protect its bottom line either.
It is a sad story. But like you wrote, there is a 9-month period to prepare. The man should take some blames, and not the hospital, especially for this reason. Who knows if the hospital do have maternity services? If he had deposited, say 10% of the requested deposit, who knows the hospital might have commenced treatment. The situation he narrated shows he didn't offer any amount, and the hospital actually referred them to a government hospital, where they might get better treatment and at a cheaper or even free rate. That wasn't bad from this private hospital. Moreover, if he didn't have enough money for deposit, he should have gone to a government hospital first. I think private hospitals can be expensive because of the bills and salaries they need to pay.
Safyqueen: Buhari never set this kind of record. His appointments are not majorly from northwest where he hail from. The north has three zones, each one bigger than the remaining southern zones. You can't be ruling the country with one-sixth of the country and you call it another name.
Forget about the 'zoning', which is created for political reasons. Look at it with tribal perspective, then you'd agree Buhari set the records. If there are Yorubas in the South East and South South, Tinubu might also consider giving them such appointments as INEC Chairman
GOFRONT: Natasha is Not like Fubara who they would sheepishly scare out of the way.........They thought she would arrive by Land but Madam follow by Air. ...........Natasha 5 Vs Kogi Govt 0
BTW, Akpabio caused all of these chaos starting from the day when his 3rd leg took control of his life....
He wanted to have another man's wife laid.
If Akpabio can make the move to fvck a legally married woman NATASHA, then who is an ordinary me not to make an attempt too.........But when I do, Nairalanders whose hands are badly dirty would come on me with their over righteous attitude.
Nothing like levels here. She's using the constituency allocations
fergie001: Following the State Government's ban on rallies and convoys without approval, Senator Natasha Hadiza Akpoti-Uduaghan arrived her Ihima hometown in a helicopter in the waiting hands of a large crowd.
I am not a bastard, I know my roots, I am an Ebira woman, I am not afraid of anybody.
This is not campaign time, I am just coming to celebrate the Sallah period with my people. I am not breaking any law.
I am just a simple, poor Ihima girl. You know me I grew up here, but for my husband where will I have gotten the resources to come with a helicopter?
When we read the Press Releases yesterday, and all the roadblocks ams barricades leading to the major roads in Kogi Central, I knew we were up for a challenge. Even though I am not a lawbreaker, we appreciate the powers of the Governor, and also respect the Commissioner of Police, but we didn't come by road, no convoy and we are not on the streets, we are in our hometown, so we broke no law.
