Maybe the law of averages dictated that Messi had a breakout game but if we look at it more analytically the question you should be asking is how do you in 90 mins of football fail to produce a single shot on target? Is it Messi that stops us from consistently creating chances in this game

Even if he is clueless about how to shutdown Messi is he also clueless about how we can get goals of our own?
