Looking at the game, on the tactical front, Pep won. Hes the boss when it comes to tweaks and tactics. He started the game with a 3-5-2 that drifts to a 3-4-3 as the game progressed, especially when they have the ball. That raised a high line of defence and hard pressing from the midfield players. Would have been a difficult one for us had their key players played. They controlled the game better and would have gotten a decent result from the game. Perhaps, a draw or slight loss.

Lucho deserves some praise tho... He was firm with his philosophy? His is: What use is possession in the middle of the pack when you have a terrific front three. It was a case of struggle more to win back the ball when lost(ball interceptions), feed I. Rakitic whose job is then to look out for god-Messi and co. It is simple, straightforward and lethargic.

On the players:

7. Neymar Jnr was OK. Was marked well but had his moments. Great golazo from him.

8. L. Suarez? The best of him is yet to come. 40 goals is sure next season.

Guardiola IMO threw that game. We focused so much on containing Barca we forgot to create anything offensively. In a game where we needed to be direct as possible we were dancing shoki and galalalala in the box

Thiago was busy doing rubbish flicks and tricks instead of being a bit more direct.

We went a goal down and heads just dropped. That is not a mark of a well coached team!

With everyone fit I doubt we would have played better. Same thing happened last season.

Bernat should not start for Bayern again. He is not Bayern level

Neymar just dived, all our players were protesting and Neuer stupidly, threw the ball to start play when everyone was out of position

Bernat lost the ball and the rest is history

Neuer and Bernat caused the first goal after that it was a meltdown

No excuses, The better team won.
