coogar: de gea isn't a separate entity from united. he's our player. any of our players can cop heroic displays that get the team a victory. saying we rely on our own player to get us 3 points is malicious.
The unbeatable David de Gea stops almost seven certain goals...
If anyone was the main man in the Clásico-type game in the Premier League between Manchester United and Liverpool at Old Trafford, it was United's Spanish goalkeeper David de Gea. He held his side together during the difficult moments and then became a veritable nightmare for the Liverpool forwards. His six notable saves:
12th minute: Sterling receives the ball in the area and tries to get round the advancing De Gea with a hard, low shot but De Gea throws himself down and saves it.
24th minute: Sterling again. This time he unleashes a hard shot before he reaches De Gea, but De Gea tips it round for a corner.
51st minute: Sterling's final try. He takes advantage of a defensive error by Evans and appears to dribble the ball past De Gea, but when he strikes the ball towards goal, De Gea stops it, this time with his foot.
67th minute: Sterling crosses to Balotelli, whose shot is pushed onto the bar by De Gea.
81st minute: Balotelli swivels round inside the area, controls the ball but shoots straight to where De Gea is protecting the goal.
85th minute: Balotelli's third attempt, again with no luck. He goes one-to-one with the United keeper, but De Gea deals with the situation very competently.
coogar: looking at it again, sterling should be hung, he should have struck the ball on his sexing touch. he had no reason to touch it for the 3rd time.....
AirborneLacer: Last time I checked, the Europa League is European football's second tier competition.
It's not a stomping ground for the elites.
If Liverpool cant give the likes of Sporting Lisbon, Ajax, Anderlecht, Olympiakos, Steaua Bucuresti, Napoli etc a run for their money, then the big wigs at the Club should kindly have the franchise closed.
Say wetin happen?
I wonder if Chelsea would still exist if your format was put in effect decades ago...
Let Liverpool keep making the number till they get a Billionaire who is a football fan & is ready to transform liverpool & accomplish what Chelsea & Man City have been doing over the past 10 years...
coogar: shut up! how would the linesman have see van persie touching the ball? the ball didn't change direction & if the ball is untouched, mata is onside!
philfearon: Lol.... Here is my take: If Lucho doesn't know how to unlock park the bus teams, why dafuq is he still our coach? Is that not our major problem? Like I said,The coach is just relying on luck....He is totally clueless, and once again he has made the team overly reliant on Messi! On my own take,we lost the game cuz Neymar didn't play..This is a Getafe we won 2-5 last season without Neymar,Messi,Xavi and Iniesta.....
I agree with you...
Honestly, our game is too predictable & its worrisome...
philfearon: No,its my fault that he can't devise a particular tactics or plan to win matches instead of relying on try your luck..... Is it today that teams started parking the bus against Barca? By the way,Getafe didn't really park the bus!!
ddippset: the mathematics you should be doing is subtracting penalties from real goals. Yes, it is the work of the referee to prevent offsides and handballs, but there is little or nothing he could do about a player who consistently transforms the 18 yard box into an 18 yard swimming pool.
coogar: the 2 manchester clubs have to work twice as hard to get those titles. chelsea & arsenal usually get free passes. arsenal's unbeaten season was aided by the FA. too many games that season where arsenal were down on their luck & the ref would whisper to pires to dive & a penalty would draw the game level.
no consistency in refereeing. it makes me sick!
Its a joke right?
But i know one thing is for sure, you didn't type this ***** in your dreams! Cos what you posted is exactly the irony & we all know you know...
Quit playing my friend!
The height of it was a game involving Chelsea & Manchester United @ Stamford bridge during 2011/2012 season when Chelsea were 3 goals up only to smuggle 3 goals back via 2 dives that should rather deserve a yellow for both Evra n Welbeck instead of the other way round only courtesy of "guess who" Mr. Webb...
