Nevertheless, you are right though. Barça are always cautious about bringing in talents from other leagues. They rather go for talents within the Spanish league who have proven themselves. A lot of factors can hinder a player's performance in a different league. Probably new weather, maybe new language too, new culture, new people, even the environment and also some can be homesick.

But the reality is that, great players will adapt anywhere they find themselves.
