This is a brain teaser...lets say you saw a laptop of 97K. You didn't have the cash, so you borrowed 50K from ur mom and 50K from ur dad = 100K. You bought the laptop which left you with 3K change. You gave ur dad 1K and ur mum 1K and kept the other 1K to yourself. Now you owe your mum 49K and ur dad 49K. Now 49K+49K = 98K + ur 1K kept = 99K.Where is the missing 1K? Marc9: This current admission process, UI likely assigned cut-off dat accommodates all all merit based candidates(d 40%), so I don't think there wld be candidates who beat d cut-off and wldnt make d 1st list. So d 1st list wld accommodate both merit based candidates(all of dem) and ELDS candidates(likely d 10 highest candidates). After screening and vacancies open up, d 2nd batch wld be based on candidates dat scored closest to d cut-off. Dats wat UI meant by "admission wld be strictly merit based, cos no low scoring candidates wld be given lobbied or chosen over those dat scored higher.Ohk...... |

Ui admission quota is abt 6500 but d wicked ui vc will neva admit more dan 3000 in d name of "we dont want congestion". Are unilag,oau and unilorin dat are admittin up to 7000 bigger dan ui? Go to a website of medical and dental council of nigeria and see d quota for ui mbbs there and compare it wit wot ui admit every year. U will be shocked to see many names dat didnt beat d MERIT cut off wen d admission list is releasedyeap,I met d cutoff |
