With all your comments here, you are simply DULL!!!
Kobojunkie:
I don't listen to your Oprah or anyone on issues so please don't expect me to argue any of their claims. undecided

My question to you remains. You claim feminists all have hidden agendas that fall under the two categories you listed, yet I can pick about 10 random threads on romance section from this week alone that were created by guys who never used the word "feminist" to describe their womem/gal friend. Yet all 10 complaints have something to do with the women using them for at least one of the reasons stated in those two categories you claim apply mostly to feminists, how come? undecided

Y’all would rather only sad stories about marriage be told? When you consistently put down any relationship that seems to be happy because you would rather believe they are unhappy and insecure. That's hate if you don’t know. And it only enforces the scare that marriages are a horror story.

FYI. A Rolex watch is not a trinket BTW.

people show off different things all the time. Be it their beauty, their lovely children, their skills and their academics achievements to mention a few. why do you and people like you pick on those who show off their good relationships or material belongings.

How’s that different from other kinds of showing off.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Mo Salah's Injury Is Punishment For Breaking His Ramadan Fast by codedmelvin(m): 6:13am On May 31, 2018
Liverpool star Mo Salah's injury is God's punishment for breaking his Ramadan fast for the match against Real Madrid, claims Kuwaiti preacher

Footballer Mo Salah injured his shoulder in the Champions League final because he broke his Ramadan fast for the match, an Islamic preacher has claimed.

The Liverpool star sprained his shoulder in a tussle with Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos about 31 minutes into the game, which the Reds went on to lose 3-1.

Kuwaiti preacher Mubarak al-Bathali the next day claimed in a tweet that 'God punished him' for eating before the match during the Holy month.

He said that although Muslims are allowed to stop fasting for travel, eating so he could play in the final was 'not a legitimate excuse' and Salah had sinned.

Al-Bathali said Salah intended to break his fast for the match, rather than because he was travelling from Britain to Ukraine, and his intention was what mattered.

Liverpool physiotherapist Ruben Pons earlier confirmed Salah would break his fast for the match after discussions with a nutritionist.

'Tomorrow and the day of the match he won't [fast], so it's not going to affect him,' he told Spanish radio station Cadena SER last Thursday.

Al-Bathali said Salah, 25, was given bad advice and 'unfortunately, [he will] bear the burden' for it.

The Egyptian forward's injury put him in doubt for the World Cup in Russia beginning June 14, which the preacher said would remind him everything happens by God's will.

'Do not think the Muslim believes that life is managed by reason and effort, but life is the hand of God comes to whom he will, whether hard or not diligent,' he said.

'Perhaps [the injury] is good for you.'

Egypt on Wednesday said Salah would be fit to play in some of the World Cup, as his absence 'God willing, will not exceed the absence of three weeks'.

However, Al-Bathali said Salah was a 'virtuous, good and respected man' who was an ambassador for Muslims and was helping improve their image in the West.

He praised him for continuing to observe other Muslim requirements, like walking away from his teammates when they drank alcohol.

'Do not grieve, the door of repentance is open,' he said.

Education / Re: ASUU Strike Update: ASUU To Announce Continuation Or Suspension Today. by codedmelvin(m): 2:44pm On Aug 27, 2017
Sciencehigh1:
The Academic Staff Union of Universities ( ASUU ) says there is no going back on its on going strike as 80% of the chapter voted for continuation
Prof . Biodun Ogunyemi , the union ’s National President , told the News Agency of Nigeria ( NAN ) on telephone in Abuja that the strike would be total and indefinite.
The union leadership , after its executive committee meeting , declared the strike continues toll the FG yield to it request .
Ogunyemi said chronic under-funding of the sector through low budgetary allocation, which went from 11 per cent in 2015 to eight per cent in 2016, did not go down well with the union .
He pointed out the failure of government to implement the 2009 agreement and the 2013 Memorandum of Understanding ( MoU ) as some of the reasons for embarking on the warning strike.
The president said that its members were tired of what they described as “government ’s empty promises ’’ in setting up its negotiation team for the review of agreement as consistently requested by ASUU since 2012 .
“There shall be no teaching , no examination and no attendance of statutory meetings of any kind in any of our branches while the strike lasts .’’
According to him , the union will put machinery in place to ensure that there is total compliance during the strike..
He explained that the essence of the strike was to draw attention of concern stakeholders and the general public to the challenges that the unions, universities and other stakeholders in the sector were facing.
“Nobody will say before we exhaust the warning strike some issues cannot be addressed if government want to be sincere with our cause.
“We are doing this because we want Nigerians to come into the matter and ensure that these issues are given adequate attention they deserve
.
“Our lecturers are given 40 per cent of their salaries , which is just not encouraging, as this will lead to poor commitment in carrying out their jobs .
“I am sure nobody will like a 40 per cent university education or 40 per cent teaching of various courses including research development and output .
“That is why we have to take the matter before the National Assembly, which we believe , will come into the matter just like the Nigerian parents .’’.
ASUU also uses this medium to wish all student happy salah .
